Nagisa sat at her desk silently thinking to herself. She knew that her situation was quite sticky. Kayano sat near the front of the classroom while Sugino sat behind her. She had a girl named Megu to her right but the seat to the left remained empty.

Kayano sat herself down at that desk and stared at her friend. Nagisa jolted back in surprise at how close her friend was. "What's wrong with you today?" She asked as she closely looked at Nagisa.

She had realized that she had been pouting the whole time. "Just thinking," Nagisa said truthfully. She didn't feel like telling her friends what was going on yet.

She remembered the talk that the three had yesterday. She was really hoping that Sugino was right about Karma not being in her class. It would truly be a disaster if he was.

Before Kayano could react, Korosensei walked into the room with books in his hand. Kayano quickly returned to her desk so they could start class, mumbling about how she was being separated from her friends.

After they finished role call Korosensei decided to make an announcement. "We have a kid joining our class for the year." Nagisa found herself crossing her fingers in lost hope. Please, not Karma. Anyone but Karma. "You can come in now," He called to the figure outside the door.

Nagisa's face planted on her desk in horror. It was almost like life hated her. "This is Karma Akabane. Please treat him well." Nagisa felt the life leave her body as Sugino tried to shake it back into place from behind her. "Please find yourself an empty seat."

Nagisa scanned the room to check for empty seats. She soon came to a conclusion that the left seat was the only seat available. Not knowing what to do, Nagisa took a textbook and made it stand in front of her and covered her face to the left by forming a ninety-degree angle.

The sound of a seat dragging across wood was heard next to her and she tensed unintentionally. "Hey there~" Nagisa heard Karma say from behind the book. Before she could react, he lifted the book off the desk. "Nagisa-chan."

Nagisa yelped as she saw Karma's face. "Your blue hair gave it away," Karma said as he lifted a strand of her hair.

Everyone in the room gaped at the two, wondering how the two got so friendly. "Do you two know each other?" Korosensei asked at last. Can't you read the mood? The class seemed to think in unison.

Karma only smiled and wrapped his arm around Nagisa's shoulders. "She's my girlfriend," Karma said bluntly. The room was silent for a minute while they soaked in the knowledge before making a commotion.

The playboy Maehara stood up from his seat. "You mean Nagisa is dating the Karma? Who knew bad boys were her type?"

Sugino stood up from his seat too. "There's no way Nagisa-chan would date a guy like Karma. Right, Nagisa-chan?"

She was ready to deny this horrible accusation until Karma caught her eye. His smirk was still stretched across his face but his eyes were staring straight into hers. That was when she finally caught onto the message; this was his second command.

Swallowing the bitter taste in her mouth, she noticed everyone in the class was waiting for her to answer. Almost like a whisper, Nagisa answered, "Yes."

No one was able to hear exactly what the girl said so they unconsciously moved closer and asked, "What did you say?"

Nagisa hung her head low before answering louder this time, "Yes."
