Nagisa woke up as the sun was shining through the windows. It took her a moment to remember why she woke up in such a strange room. Her head felt like someone was slamming her head against a brick wall.

Glancing over, she saw a familiar redhead, still asleep on a futon below. Trying her best to not wake up the devil spawn, she slowly pulled off the covers and softly placed her feet on the floor.

Silently walking around the evil incarnate, a wave of pain swept through her head causing her clumsy lose balance for a moment. A yelp escaped from her lips as her feet got tangled in his sheets as she hit the ground hard.

"Curse my luck," Nagisa mumbled as she picked herself up, her hand holding her head in pain.

Her bad luck just didn't seem to end for her this morning. "When you get up in the morning, you should try to be a little louder. That way maybe you could wake up the whole neighborhood."

Her whole body froze in freight. She could tell from a mile away that Karma was not a happy person once he woke up.

Unsure what to say, Nagisa cracked a nervous smile. "Good morning?" She said hesitantly. All she got was an eye roll in response.

Karma patted down his slight bed head before speaking. "After breakfast, I'm walking you back to your house so get ready now."

Not knowing what to do with her hair without tying it up, she loosely platted her hair to the side. "You've already done a lot for me, I can at least walk back by myself," She tried to convince him.

Karma just scoffed. "You almost sound like you want to get kidnapped again. Wouldn't your mom get upset?"

Nagisa practically panicked as she remembered she forgot to call her mom to say she wasn't coming home last night. "Karma-kun! I forgot to tell my mom that I wasn't coming home. She's probably freaking out right now."

Karma just held up her phone, looking relaxed. "I already told her last night," He told the girl, earning a relieved sigh. Karma's expression suddenly changed as he wore a smug grin as if he just remembered something. "Oh yeah, why is my name Period Head in your contact list."

Nagisa did her best to look unfazed. "Would Menstrual Man be better?" She asked, trying her best not to laugh.

Karma rolled his eyes at her comment. "Are you going to stop associating me with girls' monthly problems?"

"Are you going to give me back my diary?" Nagisa shot back.

Karma went silent before saying, "Touche."

After a while, they made their way downstairs. Nagisa was practically forced to eat breakfast before the walk back to her house. They remained fairly quiet, listening to the sound of their feet hitting the pavement. No words were spoken because no words were needed to be said.

After a few minutes, their eyes fell upon a familiar house. "See you Monday," Karma waved before turning back around.

Taking a deep breath because she knew she was going to regret what she was going to say, she called out, "Hey Karma!" He turned around in response. "Are we still going to watch Sonic Ninja together?"

She could've sworn his face softened before being replaced with a smirk. "I thought you had to watch it with me." Nagisa almost facepalmed at herself as she remembered he gave up one of his commands to watch the movie with her. Her thinking was cut off when he spoke again. "Although now we do have to wait for your head to get better."
