***Warning: I added a few very controversial things about World War II in there. I absolutely mean no harm and don't want to offend anyone. It is just mentioned a few times and has nothing to do with the plot but I also ask to remain mature about this. I really don't want people arguing over it and I will delete any comments that seem controversial in any way***

Nagisa paced in front of her cabin while her mind was set to work. In the beginning, she thought that she could get back at by using the same trickery that the Hermes cabin was known for but she immediately discarded the idea. Anyone of the Hermes kids could smell a prank arising from a mile away.

"Stop pacing," Asano commanded her. "You're putting us on edge."

She scowled in response but planted her feet anyway. "You could try helping me think," she suggested bitterly.

Asano scoffed. "The last time I checked, revenge was on your playing field. I'm here because you're going to need help executing it."

"How many times do I have to remind you that revenge isn't something you can easily whip up like it was handed to you on a silver platter. Children of Nemesis treat revenge like a living thing because it is a living thing."

"Karma?" Terasaka guessed.

The name made both Nagisa and Asano jump in surprise. After realizing what he was talking about she continued. "In Hinduism and Buddhism, yes. But in reality, it's going to be me."

Terasaka didn't seem to be following? "But you've only been alive for 14 years. Revenge has been alive since the beginning of humankind. You can't tell me that you've been going around and spreading hate forever."

"There have been dozens of Nemesis children unaccounted for through history. Ever heard of Hammurabi? Made the Code of Hammurabi?"

Asano caught on easily as he replied, "Wasn't that the law code with an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth?"

Nagisa smirked as she nodded. "If you weren't obsessed with winning, I would've mistaken you for a child of Athena," she complimented before getting back to the point. "Although our mother is considered a minor goddess, her children are powerful enough to impact the course of history."

"Wasn't Hitler a follower of Nemesis?" Terasaka bluntly asked.

"Unfortunately, yes. That wasn't one of my mother's greatest highlights. Nemesis always sides with the side that holds the most hate and vengeance, and that doesn't always have to be the right side. The only reason why the gods forgave her was because she switched when the Japanese attacked the U.S. and they joined the war as their way of revenge. Even though they forgave her, the gods still decide to play the blame game." Nagisa was interrupted by the sound of thunder rumbling from above. "Sorry Zeus," she apologized.

Asano hummed from beside her. "That only proves how powerful Nemesis can be. She indirectly started the Second World War.

"And helped finish it," Nagisa immediately said. "Like I said, not one of my mother's best decisions."

Terasaka grunted. "I understand why our parents get along so well. Without one we can't have the other."

"Something like that," Nagisa shrugged. "And that's also a reason why Karma should be scared of me. When's the next capture the flag?"

"Friday," Terasaka replied immediately. Of course, a child of Ares would know when his next battle would be.

She didn't realize how close the next one would be. It was only five days away. "I need our cabins to form an alliance again. Will you work with me again?"
