Lurking, creeping,
Ninjas of the night.
Sneaking up silently,
Erasing all the light.Spreading forth like ink,
Spilled from its well.
Leaching into corners,
No light can ever dwell. They don't stop expanding,
Until all is dark.
Coating every surface,
With its pitch, black mark.To stop the shadows
Taking over your home and heart.
Flick a switch or light a candle,
Making those monsters depart.
