Chapter 2: Take it or Leave It?

I turn off the alarm and planning to continue my sleep a little bit more. I stretch out my hand while my eyes still shuts trying to give Leon a cuddle. Weird. My other side of the bed is empty. Leon is not a morning person. Where could he be? I open my eyes and see a note under Leon's phone (which Leon gave it to me yesterday) on the table beside of my bed. I take the note and read it.

Sis I'm sorry. I don't know how to tell you this. I tried so many times to gather my courage in order to talk to you face to face but I never have the guts to say it until the deadline arrived. This is my chance to chase my dream.

I got a call from a friend that I knew from Facebook. He has a band. He performs in a bar in Florida. He asked me whether I'm interested to join the band as a singer.

You know that I really into music than sport, right? I had accepted his proposal and right now I'm on a bus (or maybe plane, I don't decide it yet when I'm writing this) leaving to Florida. I knew that if I try to talk to you about this, you would never let me go. The worst part of it you will start nagging me about finishing college and stuff. I'm so not ready to get nag by you, the machine gun nagger 😂

Please don't hate me. I need to chase my dream. Maybe it comes only once in a lifetime. Who knows?

P/s: please don't try to search for me. I had deactivated all my social accounts. I also had given my phone to you. But still I'll contact you from time to time. I'll mail you once I got the chance.
