➳ Chapter 9 ➳

➳ The friendship between the barca boys was so strong that they'd always be sad and panic if one of them didn't reply to their messages. Rafinha finally came back and walked over to the boys.

 "hey guys I-"

But before he could finish his sentence off, the boys turn around and cut him off. "Rafinha where were you?" All of them stood there with their arms crossed, like they were annoyed and Suarez wanted to be extra so he started tapping his feet.

"Okay Suarez you can stop with the tapping." Neymar replies, looking down at his feet.

"I went to the gym with Stegen guys, chill out haha" Rafinha laughs, making Ter Stegen laugh with him too.

The boys finally let out a laugh and continued talking. Messi walked over to Rafinha and said, "let's walk."

So, that's what they did. They began to walk until they came over to the bar and decided to get a drink. "Two juices please." 

"Sure Messi!" Maryse smiles, forcing the politeness and she also notices Rafinha standing there. Alessia was no where to be seen so this was an opportunity to hang out with the two. While she made the drink, she concentrated more on the boys than actually making the drink. Messi had noticed and they even caught eye at times but she would quickly look away.

"So what did you want to talk to me about?" Rafinha asks, smiling at Messi.

"Well as you know myself and Antonella are getting married soon, we wanted to have a party. Formal evening you know?" Messi discusses, his hands showing movement. 

Rafinha looked suddenly interested after hearing the words party and married. "Oh my god can I be your best man?" 

Messi laughs and then slaps Rafinha on the arm, "Yeah, okay."

Then he continues, "So Antonella wants couples at this party but you're like the only one who doesn't have a girl-"

"Okay I know I'm single man, but Neymar's my princesca" Rafinha interrupts, trying to be cheeky.

"Yes but don't you know any friends who are girls? Neymar will be there with Bruna, Pique with Shakira and so on. We need to find you a buddy just for the night because her friends and family will be there too and she thinks you have a girlfriend anyway." Messi laughs awkwardly because he and Rafinha knew that Rafa didn't have a girlfriend.

"I'm here!" Maryse exclaims and then goes red after blurting out the words way too fast. 

"I meant the drinks are done! Here!" She smiles, passing the drinks as she slid them smoothly across the counter.

Rafinha just took his drink and smiled at Maryse, "thank's Maryse" he says after looking at the name tag on her shirt.

"Yes, thank you" Messi smiles, very quickly and then pulls Rafinha to walk with him.

Maryse noticed the way Messi was acting and didn't understand why he was acting so strange like that? Did Alessia say something about her to him? She must of have.

Alessia was with Elle, another girl who worked at the bar. They both were working on tables and throwing out any extra rubbish that wasn't needed. Elle was new and was put with Alessia to work with, which Alessia found some comfort in. 

"So, when do we get a break?" Elle asks, smiling at Alessia who picked up empty packets and bottles and threw them in the bin.

Alessia laughs, "We usually get told by Mr. Gomez. But don't worry, we do get breaks."
