"KALE WAKE UP, MIJÁ WERE RUNNING LATE" Gina said

As I woke up spitting my curls out of my mouth

"Fine fine" I said getting up and start getting dressed I put on a black spaghetti strap crop top and dark wash denim shorts and black knee high socks with my black and white vans
I put on a black lace cross choker and my black elastic choker bracelet
And I left natural wild curls down

"Why every time we go somewhere you always wearing either all black or an oversized sweater and dark jeans at least one time I'd like to see you in color Kay " Gina said

"Maybe but I think I'll jut stick to my clothes for right now" I said putting in my septum

"Ready?" She asked
"Ready." I said

We had just got to Benny's
"Mommy ,Daddy" Gina said
"Hi babygirl and hello Kale" her dad said he always loved me
"Regina sweetie I missed you so much dear, Kaleen." Her mom said without giving me a thought she always high key hated me

We all went inside
And we were looking at the menu when we started talking
"So Kale honey you still have your braces on I see" Mr.Willer said to me
"Yeah 3 years with them and I still have a crooked smile" I awkwardly said and smiled
"Kaleen how's work been? Have you finally gotten a job?" Mrs.willer said
"I'm focused only on school at the moment" I said
"Hmm you think after all these years your mother and father Corina and Christian the best lawyers in NY that money can buy would be happy to hear about their daughter going to Harvard or having a good job as an apprentice at a well known company but instead you waste it all on community college and art" her mother said
"I'm sorry excuse me for a minute" I said getting up to go to the restroom
When I bumped into a hard chest
"Michael?" I said
"Kale?" He said
"Yeah" I said
"We should really stop running into each other like this" he said chuckling at his cheesy joke
"Yeah" I smiled
"Hey girl I'm sorry about my mo-and who is this" Gina said
"Shit!" I said under my breath as Michael looked at me confused
"Gina this is Michael,Michael this is my best friend Gina" I said
"Hi nice to meet you" Michael said sticking out his hand that Gina didn't take
"YOUR MICHAEL! WE WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT YOU LAST NIGHT" she said
Oh my god kill me I thought I wanted nothing more than to die at this very moment
As Michael looked at me with a raised eyebrow
"YEAH SHE SAID YOU WERE VERY ATTRACTIVE BUT SHE DIDNT EVER GET YOUR NUMBER" she said
"Godammit Gina!" I said covering my face with my hands
"Oh really,well tell Kale that I think she's pretty damn attractive as well" he said smirking at me as he removed my hands from my face
As Gina squealed at our physical contact with each other
As I smiled
