“What is wrong Anne?” he asked rubbing his thumb across my smooth elbow.

“Let go of her, or she will do to you what she did to me.” Addison’s voice rang in my ear as he slammed the driver’s side door. Inside I could tell that my eyes had changed to the bright emerald color. Matthew released my arm and took a step back from me, moving out of my way so I could enter. Running up the stairs with a hand pressed firmly to my swollen belly avoiding all the eyes that were on me. Vincent glared at me as I made it to the top of the grand staircase. He bowed a little, smiling at me while his eyes looked down to my belly.

“What are you looking at” I snapped, not even allowing him to answer once I turned away from him and retreated down the long corridor to the safety of my room.

Once Addison was up the stairs an in front of his brother he sighed. Even though he did not need to breath, he had to do it for his father’s sake and the company his father built. Running his fingers through his blonde hair and throwing the keys to the guard for the jeep, he looked at his brother.

“We will talk about it tomorrow at work. I don’t think the mansion is good for this talk.” Addison muttered low enough for only his brother. Matthew nodded before following his brother into the house and to the main office. Hader sat behind a large oak desk and offered the seats in front of him. Both boys sat down and relaxed.

“What’s wrong boys?” Their father asked without looking up from his paper work.

“I’m just thirsty is all?” Matthew said looking over at Addison saying 'what’s your excuse' in his head.

~None of your damn business~ Addison shot back.

“I wish you two wouldn’t mind talk.” Hader spoke before looking at Addison. “So have you nailed the broad yet?”

“That’s disrespectful, and I do not like you calling my wife a broad.” Addison glared at his father. “I don’t call mother a whore do I?”

“Point taken.” Hader leaned back, placing his hands on the back of his head. “Janet and her team think they have discovered the gene that allows us to clone any type of blood. They want you two there in the morning so they can show how it works and to convince you to approve it.”

“But I’m busy tomorrow.” Matthew spoke throwing his head back.

“Too bad, if two approve it will be our newest cash crop.” Hader smile

“Does Vincent or the others know?” Addison asked.

“I’m planning to tell your brother later.”

“He is going to be pissed that you didn’t include him in this meeting.” Matthew said “He is already pissed that he is the third son and our sister is no better.”

“I also wanted you opinion on something else.” Hader changed the subject.

“What” both boys said in unison.

“Gregory of the Australian coven has written his love for your sister and wishes to marry her at the end of the year.”

Addison laughed. “Wow, does he know she is a snob and sometimes she’s a pain in the ass, plus high maintenance.”

This made Matthew laugh. “You hit the nail right on the head.”

“That’s enough of making fun of your sister, I expect you both to be at the office at nine-thirty sharp no later.” Hader pointed to the door. “Please send your brother to me if you will.”
