The wedding took place on a warm summer's day, the noon reception dancing until sunset. Frisk wore pretty silver gloves, fearing her touch to her husband.

When the two headed to the bridal chambers, Sans was eagerly kissed by Frisk. The skeleton opened the door and scooped her up in the same movement, heading to the bed.

Frisk fell pregnant that night.

"Your Highness!"

Frisk looked up as Captain Undyne burst into the library. "The King is dead."

The princess paled, placing a hand over her stomach, over her womb. "W- What?"

"The Prince- no, the King, will explain." The fish woman said. She led Frisk to her and Sans' chambers, sword out.

Sans was sitting in a armchair, his head in his hands. When Frisk entered, he looked up. Dark blue tears ran down his face.

She quietly hugged him. "How?"

"An assassin. I was running late to a meeting and Father decided to stall for me. It was meant for me."

Undyne stepped inside, a sad expression on her face. "We've caught the assassin."

Sans nodded.

The coronation happened the day after the funeral, the couple becoming King Sans and Queen Frisk.

When all the nobility came up to swear fealty, Frisk paled as Earl Chara stepped up.

"I am so sorry for your loss, your Majesty." The redhead man said. His eyes narrowed at seeing Frisk. "You must've been blessed the day your wife fell."

Sans straightened. "I have no idea what you mean, but, yes, I do count myself lucky to have Frisk."

Chara nodded, glaring at Frisk as he stepped away.

Her left hand was tingling.

That night, Frisk touched anything non valuable and scattered it across the room.

Sans was surprised to find the room full of gold when he entered, his beloved asleep in a chair.

He placed her in bed and started to get rid of the gold.
