Just a note, most of the titles will probably be song lyrics, mainly by Mayday Parade... just saying ;) Okay, Enjoyyyyyyy!!
Dan's POV
"Are you ready, Dan?" Phil says, walking into the kitchen.
"We're going somewhere? Thanks for telling me in advance so I can cancel my plans." I sigh.
"Plans?" He asks, confused.
"I was going to make a video, but I guess going somewhere is more important." I say, hoping he'd see that I'm busy and going somewhere will be a bad idea.
"Are you sure you aren't just saying that? Last time, I came back and you were still eating the same sandwich as you did two hours earlier."
"I'm feeling it, Phil. I'm motivated! I'm-"
"Not wanting to do anything?"
"Yeah, pretty much."
He sighs. "I'll go out by myself. Need anything from the shops while I'm gone?"
"Could really use a packet of Doritos right now."
Phil grabs his jacket and leaves, leaving me to continue browsing Tumblr. A funny cat picture? Reblog.
Somebody knocks at the door, getting faster and louder at each knock.
'Keep your wig on, jeez' I say in my head. I open the door, and a girl with brown hair is standing there.
"Hey, um, sorry to bother you. The power just went off in my flat opposite and I was wondering if it had gone on the whole floor before calling someone." She says. I look around, and see that the lamp that was previously on, had now turned off.
"Yeah, it's gone here too. Probably some roadworks downtown messing up the power..." I reply.
"Okay, thank you!" she walks off.
I haven't seen her around here before. But what's it to me? Back into the world of Tumblr I go.
A Few Hours Later...
I've just realised that Phil's been gone for ages. I've lost my craving for Doritos, and am now craving lemonade. Is this what pregnant women go through everyday? Oh God what if I'm pregnant?
"Dan?"
"Yeah?" I answer the voice. Phil comes into the room.
"I doubt you're pregnant." Phil says.
"I said that out loud, didn't I?"
"Yeah. You did."
I mentally facepalm myself. Never say anything again.
"What took you so long?" I ask out of curiosity.
"I bumped into somebody and we got carried away with talking. Here, catch." Phil throws the packet of Doritos at me. Me being the worse catcher ever, I miss it, and it lands on my face.
"Thanks, Phil."
"No problem!"
"So, who didja bump into?" I get up off of the sofa and walk into the kitchen area with Phil.
"Oh, a f-" A knock at the door interrupts Phil. Oh my God, we don't want to buy anything! I walk over and open it, and see Izobella standing there... covered in flour?
"Oh, hi, Izobella! Do you realise that you're covered in flour?" I ask. Idiot! She probably does. Jeez, Dan.
"Hah, yeah I was. Um, this may sound ridiculous but don't suppose you have a small mixing bowl I could borrow?" She asks.
"Urm, I'll go check. You can come in if you want. I'm thinking it'll take a while to find one." I laugh and walk over to Phil. "Do we have a small mixing bowl?"
"Probably. I didn't know you liked baking, Dan." Phil replies, putting away a packet of pasta.
"It's for a friend." I open a cupboard to have fifty bags of sweets fall on top of me. "Why did you buy so many.. gummy bears?"
"They were 10p per bag!" Phil smiles like a little kid.
I pick up a bag. "Um, Phil. They are two weeks out of date." Phil's face drops. Well, we didn't need that £5 anyway... *face palm*
"What did your friend want?"
"A small mixing bowl. Pro-"
"Found one!" Phil holds up the mixing bowl.
"Wow, we actually own one?" I take the bowl from Phil and walk over to where Izobella is standing.
"Oh my god, your flat is amazing." She gasps in awe. It's not that brilliant.
"Thanks, I guess. Here's the bowl!" I hand her the bowl.
"Oh, thank you! I'll pay you back in cake, if you want!"
"As long as I don't die from it, I'm fine"
"Thanks again, Dan! See you later!"
I close the door after she left.
"She sounded familiar." Phil walks in with some toast.
"Does she?" I ask.
"She sounded like the girl I met in the supermarket early. What's her name?"
"Izobella."
