Dan seems to sort himself out... Kind of.

We walk down the empty streets, occasionally a drunken guy would stumble past.

After watching a movie in the cinema and having a meal, it was pretty late. And by pretty late I mean it was 12am.

We started to talk about stuff and the weather (you know, the usual).

"Hey, uhm.. Izobella? I really enjoyed tonight." Dan says, changing the topic from World War Two to this. (Who knows why we were discussing Hitler...)

"Me too! It was really fun. We should do it again sometime." I add.

"We'll have to arrange some time where we can go out again." Dan laughs.

"Wait wait wait... Hold up. Was this.... a date?"

"Well... Erm. I'm not too sure.. It can be if you wanted to.. I just thought we could hang out and get to know each other better."

"Dan, you ended up texting me whilst showering, I think we are at a pretty comfortable stage."

"Says you! You dropped your tea all over yourself because I accidently called you."

"What's that got to do with our friendship?"

"Everything." Dan stops walking. "How about we go out tomorrow to this cool place I know called the "wedding reception" and get married."

"I can't marry a man I just met!" I say.

"Did... Did you just quote Frozen?"

"Pfft.. No... And as much as I'd like to marry you, it's a bit too soon to pop the question, Dan."

"Yeah, I was just joking... I don't think marrying someone who I've known for not that long is a good idea."

I got home to an annoyed Olivia.

"Where. Were. You?!" She yells.

"I was out, okay?" I put my keys down and take off my jacket.

"You didn't answer my calls or texts!"

"Gee Olivia, you're like a jealous girlfriend. I'm alive, aren't I?"

She sighs, "Yeah, I guess. Anyway, who were you with?"

"I was with Dan and we got pizza and watched a movie."

"Did anything else happen?" She makes kissy faces at me.

"Ew no, I've known him for not that long."

"I'm kidding, Iz! Lighten up!"
