Getting to know ya

Ryan's POV

"So let me get this straight, your dad has three baby momma's, your mom being the first one, then you got your sister Zee, and her momma and then lastly you have two younger sisters, Jaylee and Nia and their mom is currently with your dad?" Quincy explained, trying to clarify what I had just told him.

We were in his car parked outside a McDonald's, once we left the party we came here to eat and since then we've just been getting to know each other.

"Yeup, I know it's kinda confusing but we don't let the whole half sisters thing stop us, to me their just my regular sisters. But how about you? Do you have any siblings?" I asked curious to know a Lil more about him.

"Nah, actually I'm an only child, I was actually adopted..." he said catching me a little off guard.

"Oh yeah? So how was it growing up? You know not being able to really know who your biological parents were?" I asked really intrigued  

"Well my adoptive parents told me that they were very good friends with my real parents, and they were good people. They died in a plane crash and they took me under their wing ever since and I am forever grateful for them" he declared.

I started to get a little emotional I fanned my eyes ready to reply to him when suddenly, I realized I was getting a FaceTime call from my sister Zee.

"Sorry can I take this?" I asked Quincy ready to step out the car for a moment.

"Yeah sure" he replied unlocking the door, I got out.

"Hey sis how's the New York life" I heard Zee say as she was stuffing her face with a bag of popcorn.

"It's good, but I miss you guys! How are my babies?" I asked referring to my younger sisters.

"They're fine, they're right beside me knocked out cold" Zee flipped the camera showing me that Jaylee and Nia were fast asleep in bed beside her.

"Hey Ryan you ready to get going?" Quincy asked stepping out the car.

"Ouuu who's that? He's cute!" Zee said catching a glimpse of Quincy.

"Would you shut up? And yeah sure let me just hang up with my sister." I informed him.

"I gotta go I'll call you once I get to the dorm if your still up, love you bye" before she could reply I hung up.

I got in the car and we drove off. The car was silent but it wasn't awkward or anything, it was a comforting silence, so comforting that I fell asleep...

Quincy's POV

Once parked on campus grounds, I had noticed that Ryan was fast asleep. I didn't wake her up as soon as I realized because I was just mesmerized by her beauty. I know it sounds creepy but man a nigga can't help it.

Finally I decided to wake her up. I tapped her shoulder and she started to move a Lil but she wasn't fully awake.

"Ryan wake up we're here, idk how you fell asleep so fast it was like a 25 minute ride" I declared with a chuckle.

She kissed her teeth and said "man hush this seat is mad comfy I just dozed off" she affirmed. 

Once she was fully awake I unlocked the doors got out, went to her side to open her door for her and help her out.

"Thank you for tonight, I had fun getting to know you..." she said to me.

"It was no problem at all, I really had a good time, I would love to do it again sometime" I informed her.
