Manan ff : The Manager

Malhotra Mansion.
11 : 00 pm.

The party had ended an hour ago and Mr and Mrs Malhotra where in their bedroom.

The hall room of Malhotra Mansion was more or less empty, with only to occupants.

Sitting in the bar counter, Nandini gulped down the contents of the fourth glass, trying hard to control her anger.

Manik ( scared ) : Nandini. .....ab toh kuch bolo? ?????......kab se chhup ho. .......you know naa. .....your silence hurts me really bad! !!!!

Nandini just starred at him, with her 'SHUT -UP MANIK -MALHOTRA -LOOK '

Manik ( trying to pacify her ) : ab toh tum ne chaar glass paani bhi pee liya hai. .....please mujhe maaf kar doo! !!!!......sab kuch itna jaldi jaldi hua. ......

Before Manik could complete, Nandini spoke calmly.

Nandini ( hurt ) : main. .......aap ki girlfriend ??????

Manik ( scared of her look ) : don't worry Nandini. .....yeh baat sirf inn four walls ke andar hi rahegi! !!!!!

Finally, Nandini losed her cool.

Nandini ( angrily ) : aapke liye har baat. ...ek mazaak hai naa Sir? ????......you know what. ....I AM QUITTING THIS JOB ! !!!!!!!!

Saying this, Nandini left from there.

Manik helplessly sat on the bar counter and took a sip of water, from the same glass, which Nandini used.

Manik ( pov ) : okay. ....I get it. ....she is really mad at me. .....like 'I -AM - LEAVING -YOU -WALA -MAD '

The garden of the Malhotra Mansion was a small place, with lots of roses planted over there.

The garden was devoid of any kind of artificial light. Except the moon, reflecting its calm aura above it.

Sitting on one of the benche's ,the tears started rolling down Nandini's eyes.

Nandini ( pov ) ( blabbering ) : fool. ....a complete fool. ....not only that. ....he is an idiot. .....how could he do this to me? ????.....I mean. ....main? ???.....unn ki girlfriend? ?????.......unn ke liye sab kuch ek mazaak hoga. ....but mere liye yeh feelings. .....they are special! !!!!.....ab kya mujhe unn ke liye aapne first love ki feelings taak sacrifice karna parega??????......it maybe a joke for him! !!!!!...but for me. .......it is my damn life! !!!!!......how can he do this? ??????

Suddenly, Nandini felt someone clearing her throat.

Looking up, Nandini noticed Nyonika seated beside her on the bench.

Turning her face in the opposite direction, Nandini hurriedly rubbed off her tears.

Nyonika ( in a motherly tone ): inn taaron ko kabhie gaur se dekha hai Nandini? ????

Instinctively, Nandini gazed up at the stars.

Nyonika : kehne ko toh yeh taare hamesha dusro ke liye chamakte rehte hai .....magar innke andar bahut dard chhupa hota hai. .....

Nandini calmly starred at the stars, trying to absorb each and every word, Nyonika said.

Nyonika ( with satisfaction ): and I realised the fact ki. ....tum bhi waisi hi ho. .....shining like a star. ....but hiding lot of pains. .....

Nandini just looked at Nyonika.

Nyonika : janti hu. ....mujhe tumhare aur Manik ke beech mein nehin bolna chahiye! !!!!.....joh bhi problems hai. .....woh tum solve kar sakte ho. ......
