Khurana House.

Switching off the television, Mr Khurana threw away the remote in anger.

Soha ( scared ) : dad. .....what are you doing? ????

Mr Khurana  ( annoyed ) : just shut up! !!!!.....ek kaam bhi tum se theek se nehin hota. .....kya bola tha tumne. ......ki agar hum Manik aur usske manager ke relationship ki baat ko media mein leak kar denge. .....toh Manik public humiliation ki wajah se iss scandal ko jhuthla dega! !!!!!......but. ...did you see the news. ......he is using this as an opportunity to give lectures to the media. ......this is insane! !!!!!

Soha ( angrily ) : ab mujhe kya pataa tha. ....ki agar media uss ki so called manager ko humiliate karegi. .....toh woh itna ferocious ho jaega! !!!!!

Mr Khurana  ( screaming ) : I don't want to know all this! !!!!......yeh ladka humare haath se nehin jaana chahiye. .....ek baar Malhotra Industries ke saath humara tie up ho gaya. .....toh meri company ko international market ka giant baan ne se koi nehin rok sakta. ......so do whatever it takes. ....to make Manik Malhotra yours! !!!!!

Soha just nodded her head.

Parking lot.

Cabir : arrey Nandini. ....ab toh smile kar doo! !!!!

Nandini ( angrily ) : what you guy's just did. ....was utter stupidity! !!!!......ab mujhe jaldi se jaldi jake PR team ke saath iss controversy ko rok ne ke liye idea socch naa parega! !!!!!

Manik ( carefree ) : itna tension kyon le rahi ho? ????.....galat woh the. ....hum nehin! !!!!

Nandini just glared at Manik.

Cabir ( trying to control the situation ) : hum sab studio jaate hai. ....aur tu. ....Nandini ko leke ghar jaa. ....

Nandini, not at all wanting to stay alone with Manik, abruptly said " main bhi studio chalti hu. ....bahut kaam hai. ...."

Manik ( almost scolding her ) : tum studio nehin. ....mere saath ghar chal rahi ho. .....and no arguments on that. ....

Before Nandini could disagree, she found herself sitting in the front seat, while Manik drived the car.

Manik ( curious ) : ab tum itni chhup kyon ho Murthy? ???......tum janti ho naa. .....tumhari chhupti mujhe bilkul bhi acchi nehin laagti? ?????......kuch toh bolo? ????......please. ....

Nandini ( full angry ) : stop the car. ......

Manik ( tensed ) : kyon. ....kya hua? ????

Nandini ( losing her cool ) : I said. ....stop the damn car! !!!!!!

Manik halted the car abruptly and looked at her.

Nandini ( her head weighed down ) : aapne kya kha tha. ....main aap ki girlfriend hu. ....yeh baat chaar deewari ke bhar nehin jaegi! !!!!......par ab kya? ????......ab toh pure duniya ko pataa hai! !!!!......ab aap kya karenge Sir? ????......you know what. ....aapko har cheez ek mazaak laagta hai. ....chahein woh aapke parents ke feelings ho. ....yah mere! !!!!......rehne dijiye. ....mujhe aap se baat hi nehin karna hai. .....

Manik trying hard to digest, each and every word, Nandini said.

Manik ( pov ) : lo. ....ho gayi gussa! !!!.....ab pataa nehin kitne dinnoke liye baat nehin karegi! !!!!.....duniya ki har cheez main handle kar sakta hu. ....lekin Nandini. ....aur Nandini ka gussa shant karna is next to impossible! !!!!......beta Manik. ....tayaar ho jaa. .....teri toh ab waat laag ne wali hai! !!!!!

Coming out of his trance, Manik resumed his driving, not at all meeting Nandini'seyes.

Malhotra Mansion.

Entering the living room, both of them found Mr and Mrs Malhotra, who where unaware of this fiasco, sitting on the sofa, calmly.

Manik : good morning guy's. ....

Mr and Mrs Malhotra's face lit up as they saw Nandini.

Nyonika ( giving a broad smile ) : arrey Nandini. ....khadi kyon ho? ???.....baitho naa. ....

Nandini obediently went and sat opposite to Manik.

Raj : accha hua ki tum ayi. .....Nyonika tumlogo ke saath kuch discuss karna chahti thi. ....

At this, Manik and Nandini exchanged scared looks.

Nyonika ( seriously ) : I have made a rule. ...

Manik ( blabbering ) : studio mein kam rules hai kya! !!!.....joh ab ghar pein bhi follow karna parega?????. .....

Nandini just gave Manik her 'what -did -you - just -say -wala - look '.....and Manik immediately shut his mouth.

Nyonika ( happily ) : I have decided. ....ki ghar pein tum dono ek dusre ka first name use karoge! !!!!......which means. .... Manik. ...tum ghar pein boss nehin ho. ....aur Nandini. ...manager nehin hai! !!!!.....you both are equal. ....am I clear?????. ....

Both of them nodded their heads obediently.

Manik ( pov ) : main. ...aur boss? ???......mom must be joking! !!!!.....sometimes I really doubt. ...main Nandini ka boss hu. ...yah Nandini meri boss hai? ????

Nandini ( pov ) : ab yeh kaisi musibaat hai? ???....Sir ko unn ke naam se bulana hai. ... (trying to pronounce Manik ). ...Ma. .....Man. ....don't worry Nandini. ...you will be fine! !!!.....bass thodi practice ki zarurat hai. ....
