Chapter 1:Making a scene

Your POV

Moving to the county side was something I didn't want to do, but my parents insisted. They told me it would gives me a nice break from the big city life. This wasn't my favorite idea, but it wouldn't  hurt me to give it a try. I'll be attending Yasogami high for a year till my "break" is over.

This is going to suck, I don't have any friends here, and I'm to lazy to make any. I get off the train and make my way to the house my parents got me. Since I come from a wealthy family, the house is top notch. All my stuff is already there, including my school uniform. What sucks even more is the first day is tomorrow.

I unpack the small bag of stuff I brought myself, and realize I don't have my phone... I look around to see if I set it down anywhere, as I'm looking I find a note that reads...

"Dear (y/n),

We hope you have a wonderful time, and we love you very much. We have taken your phone because we got you this new one! Fill it up with all your new friends numbers.
-Love mom

Just great... my contacts, I never bothered memorizing any of them. Oh well...

TIME SKIP a few hours

'I should probably get to bed, it's pretty late' I thought to myself as I crawled into my blanket. I fell asleep rather quick.

NEXT MORNING

*BEEP BEEP BEEP!*

"Ugh..." I tiredly roll out of bed and get into my new uniform.... annnnnnnnnndd... it's to short. I swear if my mom did this on purpose... she always seems to try and dress me more 'maturely' is how she puts it... Whatever that means. I don't got time for this I rush out the door, not wanting to be late. 'I'm such a mess'.

TIME SKIP to introduction in class

"We have two new students today, both from the big city, come on in." The ignorant sounding man, in a striped suit says. "This is (y/n) (l/n) and Yu Narukami."

I politely nod and smile, I instantly hear everyone start to chat and somewhat freak out. I decide to take my seat without the teacher telling me to. He seems to get furious and then take it out on the other new person. He just seems to ramble on and on about Narukami eyeing some girl by the window. I don't even know. I take a seat next to this boy with orangish hair. I think he was trying to talk to me because he kept blabbering on about how he moved from the big city and how we should become friends.

Soon enough the bell rang, and not to long after that there was a announcement over the loud speaker "attention all students, there has been an incident on campus. Please remain calm and go home right away. Thank you."

As I was packing up my stuff everyone gathered around me. "Hey! Are you really (y/n) (l/n)?!" Man... I knew this would happen...

"Yeah, that's me..." everyone starts to cheer and get excited, I just wanted to get home. Before I could say anything they all started asking for autographs and if they could walk me home.

"Sorry, maybe another day, i am going to be here all year. And... I'm already walking home with..." I pause for a second and point to Narukami "him." He looks at me surprised for a second and then plays it off.

"Yeah, sorry guys." He says pulling me out of the crowd.

"Than-" mid sentence I get interrupted by a girl in a green jacket who's followed by a girl in a red sweater.

"Hey new kids, if you're walking home, would you mind walking with us?This thing sounds kind of freaky." He instantly replies.

"Sure." He looks to me and I nod.
