Chapter 5: phone blowin up

After we fell back into the real world we said our goodbyes and went back to our homes.

*BZZZZZZZ BZZZZZZ BZZZZZZZ* I look down to see Narukami calling. I answer.

"Hey bud what's up?"
"Nothing just bored. Did you get home safe?"
"Yeah, I'm just about to make some dinner. Did you want to come over for some?"
"Sure. Can I bring my little sister? Her dads at work and she usually makes dinner for us, I don't want her to be alone ."
"Of course! I love having people over! You can come over anytime."
"Alright see you then. Bye"
"Byeee"
I hang up.  And start preparing the kitchen.

I hear a knock on the door and go open it to see Narukami and a cute little girl. Awwwwwww! "Come on in. Make yourself at home." I kneel down to get eye level with the girl. "And what's your name?"

"Nanako. I already know your name! It's (y/n) (l/n)!"

"It's nice to meet you Nanako." I smile warmly and she blushes. "What do you guys want to eat?"

"Anything is fine!" Nanako looks surprised "This is your house so we'll eat whatever you make."

"But you're my guest, it's okay. You can choose something!"

"Hmmm how about sukiyaki?" Nanako looks nervous to suggest something.

"Sukiyaki is really good." Narukami reassures her.

"Sukiyaki it is then." I walk towards the kitchen but Narukami and Nanako follow. "You guys don't have to help, I can do it. Please relax."

"We want to help though." Narukami opens the fridge and Nanako puts on an apron.

"Well alright then. It'll be fun!" And we get started.

TIME SKIP

When we finally finished we sat down to eat. We talked about how school was going for all of us and I learned Nanako was in first grade. She's the cutest thing.

When we're done eating I notice there's left overs. "Did you want to take the rest home for your father?

"Could we!? Thank you so much. He'll love it!" She hugs me.

"I'll go pack it up." I walk to the kitchen and neatly pack the remaining food.

When I get back they're looking at the guitar next to the tv. "Do you think you could sing and play a song for us?"  Nanako's eyes widen.

"Of course what song?" I go over the the guitar and start tuning it.

"My favorite song is Fuyu no hanashi. It's sad and emotional but I like the tune of it!" She takes a seat on the couch.

"Alright. Coming right up." Once I finish tuning I start the song. When I finish Nanako is crying.

"That was so good! I can't believe I got to hear it in person. Like a private concert!"

"Anytime Nanako! Thank you for enjoying it. It means a lot to me." I go and hug her then look at Narukami. "Thank you for bringing her and eating dinner with me. We should do it more often!" I hug him too.

"We should get going. It's getting a little late. I'll see you at school tomorrow." They both put their shoes on.
"Yeah! I hope to see you soon Nanako." I walk them to the door.
"Yeah! Bye bye!" She cheerfully walks out the door humming the tune of the song.

They leave and I lock the doors. It's about 9:30pm so I decide to take a bath. I get my lavender scented bath bomb and turn the water on. I decide to light some candles and have a candle lit bath which was the best idea, I was so relaxed. Once I was done and dressed for bed I lay down and check my phone. There's a text from Narukami and Yosuke.

Narukami- Thank you for playing for Nanako she was really happy.

Me- of course, Nanako is so cute. You should let me take her shopping."

Narukami- I'm sure she'd love that. I'll let her know tomorrow. For now I'm going to bed. Goodnight see you tomorrow"

Me- alrighty. See you! Goodnightttt😊🐛

Yosuke- Hey (y/n) I just wanted to say goodnight and remind you to lock your doors.

Me- I already did! Always safe. I can get you a key Incase you ever want to come over.

Yosuke- no no no that's alright, really. Thank you though. But anyway. Can't believe we went into a freaking tv that's unbelievable

Me- I know right! We could have gotten seriously hurt. We need to be more careful. Glad Narukami has weird powers lmaoooo I'm really tired though so I'll talk to you tomorrow! Goodnight

Yosuke- god bless Narukami and yeah goodnight! Ttyl

This was a fun little chapter to get me into the grove. I'm sleepy but it's only 9:18am ugh my sleep schedule is so messed uppp ahhhh. But yeah thank you for reading I'll be sure to write more very soon.  Oh also the song is from the anime "given" lmao it's realllllyyy good so I wanted to add it hehe.
