Chapter 4: Cool Shades

Your POV

Falling through the tv is such a weird feeling I thought to myself, but once I looked around at the surroundings it got freaky. Even thought it felt so unreal I knew it couldn't be a dream. When I looked down at the group all that was there was outlines of people with tape like they do at crime scenes. I instantly link arms with Narukami and get close. "I'm sorry, I hope you don't mind." All he does it grab my hand and holds it tight. It's reassuring and calming.

"Where...where are we..." Chie says rubbing the back of her head as she gets off the ground.

"I believe that we're in the television..." Narukami says like this is normal.

"Why are you so calm?" I giggle a little.

"This hurts to much to be a dream. I think I busted my ass." Yosuke says.

"I'm so surprised-" Narukami and I say at the same time. We look at each other almost shocked.

"Anyways. It's really foggy, I can't see a thing." I say. "But I don't think there is a normal exit anywhere around here." I kind of get over how scary it is and let go of Narukami's hand and go explore.

"Hey wait up! Where are you going?" They all follow.

"Well I wanted to look around. No sense in standing around whining."

"She's right." Narukami catches up to me.

But as where walking Chie and Yosuke stop. "What's the hold up you guys come on." I look back at them but they're attention is on a shadowy figure in the distance.

"Whaaats that...." Chie says with a shaky voice. We all start to run eventually getting ourselves to a strange room. "It took us forever to ditch that weirdo." We're all out of breathe.

I immediately stop and look around in shock... what the hell is this place. Narukami is the first to say something and soon everyone is looking at the noose in the middle of the room. But Yosuke being Yosuke yells and scares Chie and me. "What?!" We both say.

"I CANT HOLD IT ANYMORE" oh god I forgot he had to pee and now he's in the corner unzipping his pants.

"Narukami, stop him!" Chie turns but he makes it obvious he's not going to do anything.

"I can't go with you guys standing there!"

"Like we watched to watch you anyway." Chie grabs my arm and takes me out the door but not even getting out the door we see that... thing. "AHHHHHH!!" Both the boys come running out.

We all look at it for a second until Yosuke speaks up. "What is that?" I wasn't expecting it to answer but oh it proved me wrong. It started questioning who and what WE were.

"We could ask you the same thing!!" Chie yells out. This was all really weird but even the little animal thing looked worried.

"You look worried... is everything okay?" I ask him in a gentle voice but he just looks around with panic in his eyes.

"Ahhhh take these and just go. Hurry hurry! The shadows will..." the thing gave us only two so Narukami and I put them on.

"You actually put them on?" Yosuke says but our focus was somewhere else.

"There's... something there, look!" I point at some weird blobby thing coming out of the door next to us. This is an apartment complex?

The... bear thing gets scared and runs off leaving all of us there. More monster things came after us but we ran until we got to what seemed to be a playground. We're surrounded. "Woah one of the things just slimed Chie!" Chie falls to the ground. She was our cold.

"I can't... move my legs..." Narukami says frozen. They began to come at us full speed but they suddenly stopped.

"Narukami... wh-what's that..." A glowing card floats down towards his hand. The bright light turns into a blue ring around him.

"Per...so...na" he grasps the card and suddenly a figure appears. He controls it and begins eliminating the enemies that were chasing us.

He's really cool. I go to Yosuke's side and he says the same thing about Narukami. He them repeats the same word and mumbles about how a power is his.

"Chie! Wake up" I shake her and she finally lifts herself up. "You don't have to worry about the monsters. He slaughtered them! He's so freaking cool!"

"What did you call that thing? Persona?" Yosuke jumps around like an idiot.

"Who cares let's just get out of here before one of these creepy things shows up again."

"Chie that sounds like a good idea... but..." I look around. "How do we get out of here?" I think for a second and suggest we go back to where we first started. They all agreed and we started running back.

When we got there we saw that bear thing and decided to ask him for an exit.

"You need an exit? What did you do with the shadows?!"

"The monsters...Shadows? What are they?" Yosuke bends down to look at the bear.

"Did you make them?" Narukami asked and I nudge his arm and give him the 'don't ask that' face.

"Argggg now don't you be a dummy bear! I'm sick of people coming here and riling up the shadows!!!" He stomps his foot down and three TVs stacked on each other appear.

"Why did you have to say that?" I laugh a little and lean my forehead against him. "Wait... TVs?"

"Now go on and get out of here! Scram! As you can see I am a beary busy bear!" He shoves all of us into the tv and we fall back into June's.

A/N
Heyyy... it's been a couple years lmao but I got really bored during quarantine.  Stupid corona. Anyway, I'm not sure how much I'll end up writing but it seems fun. I just watch the animation and add a character into that. I can't remember any of the original ideas I had so I'll just go with the flow. I might make some chapters not related to the animation at all just for some fun backstories or adventures or something so it's more original cause I know it's really close to the animation. I'm just tryna get back into the grove. So thank you for reading. I'll try and get the next out ASAP.
