"-it's just how I feel Gisele, I'm sorry that I don't feel the same."

The tears slipped down Gisele's face as she flashed through the 6 months with her boyfriend Jake. How he held her and told her he loved her every night. And now he's throwing it away.

She took a shaky breath and responded.

"Uh it's okay I guess. I mean it was going to happen eventually right?"
She gave a small laugh to cover up the sob she had.

"Yeah, I guess you're right. But you're not mad or upset that I'm breaking up with you?"

She clenched her fist. "No! No of course not, why would I be?"

"Oh, okay well I guess I'll see ya around then."

"Okay! See ya!"

The phone hung up and Gisele gripped it tighter the last words Jake had ever said to her 'see ya around' was enough to put her over.

She began throwing things and screaming and yelling. Dropping to her knees in a heartbroken rage. Hot tears ran down her face as she furiously scrubbed at them.

'How could you not feel the same about me?!" She thought as she threw the cordless phone. It shattered into pieces of metal and machinery against the wall.

A soft knock graced her door.

"Come in" said the girl in a ball on the floor.

Giseles mother came in and stood by the door, her eyes wandering to the phone in the corner.

"What happened?"

Those two words made Gisele almost vomit. What happened? What happened!?

"Jake broke up with me, because he didn't feel the same way." She said a new rush of tears over taking her.

"Oh honey, don't worry about him. He'll see what he lost eventually. I promise"

She leaned down to place a soft kiss in Giseles head and gracefully left the room.

She soon realized that she was right. And things would get better, with time.
