If you are a teacher then you must definitely be under an evil curse or a magical spell, wanting to persue such a career that will drive your brain into insanity.

Typical popular belief.

But to Sunhee it was the closest thing to a dream job. Being an English teacher assured a normal boring life and that's exactly what she longed for. She didn't want any drama in her life anymore.

She would rather worry about marking five packets of test exams in less than two days or about that one girl at the back who can't stop disturbing her class renting about her crush to her friends, typical teenage girls!

That badboy that keeps scrutinizing her while throwing her winks thinking he's in some kind of a teenage fiction...

Well, drama was bound to take place anyways. But they were of a different kind, luckily.

Right? I suppose...

As expected, last night shook her up. She hardly managed two hours of sleep to get her through her day. She was seriously contemplating having sleeping pills. At the same time, she vowed to herself to stay away from any medicaments of that kind. She knew she was strong and could pull through without it.

Now, she was finally driving back home. She couldn't wait to jump into her bed and fluffy pillows. She just wished this time those nightmares wouldn't hunt her again.

They were nothing like those she used to see in the past. If anything she should be the one on the other end of the fight. Chocking someone to death.

She shook her head as if those thoughts and images would fly out of her brain.

"Only positive thoughts Sunhee" she forced a smile on her face, hopefully her brain would believe her bluffing and not create any horrible scenes in her sleep.

Waiting for the red light to turn green, old her would drive recklessly past it without a care in the world. But she wasn't that foolish impulsive person anymore. Her ways and attitude changed.

That was a very hard task, if you ask.

One minute felt like hours. She wanted to rest and close her heavy eyelids for a short moment.

She did.

She dozed off for a couple seconds. It felt good that is until the light went green. Not long after, beeping horns of impatient frustrated drivers started going off.  She panicked and abstractedly shifteded gears then moved forward. By the time she glanced to the front, it was already too late.

She hit on the breaks but still a loud thud came.

Her eyes widened, jaw dropped.
She immediately unbuckled her seatbelt and stepped out of the car.

Her legs, her hands heck her hole body was shaking.

"Oh my god" she gasped her hands cupping her mouth. There laid flat on the ground a body that she could recognise as a young man.

She quickly recovered from the shock and kneeled down beside him checking up on him. He tried to get up and she helped him up on his feet "Are you okay?" She asked fear seemed to take over her pale face.

He nodded slowly leaning on her car's front but she didn't miss the way he clutched his arm in pain.

"Are you sure? Should I call for an ambulance? What if you have an internal bleeding " She started to panick again.

He lifted his gaze to look at her for the first time. For a moment, he seemed to linger in there, mouth agape.

He recovered quickly and cleared his throat "No, really. I'm fine no need for an ambulance" He needed to get away from there and fast!

"I'm so sorry, this is all my fault. I dozed off and didn't see you there" She rushed to explain herself "Let me take you to the hospital at least" She looked at him with pleading eyes.

"It's not your fault. I crossed the street when the light was clearly green"

He was getting frustrated by the second while she didn't understand why he was refusing her help. He seemed like he was ready to bolt in a heartbeat.

She hesitated to let him go. She wanted to check on him, to make sure there wasn't anything wrong and of course to get rid of her fear and worry. After all, things could have turned out worse.

But he refused. Instead he just stumbled away from the crowd of people that had circled the area after witnessing the accident.

Confused at his behavior, she stood there looking at his figure getting tinnier with each step he took. Her worry and fear never fading away.

He had never thought they could meet again this way, it was planned otherwise. But why bother wait when the perfect chance laid on a golden plate.
