Chapter 10

Jake' POV

Alex was disappeared again this morning without informing his parents. Mrs. Dakota was very upset and therefore for the whole day, she was being very rude with all the servants. She even slapped Anna in the face just because she was one minute late to arrange new mattress in her bedroom. Poor Anna! She cried very badly in the kitchen. I gave her some ice-cubes and tried to soothe her. Her cheek was swollen almost.

Thankfully Mr. Patrick was busy with the meetings and returned very late in the night. So at least we were been saved from his fury for the day.

After cleaning Mr. and Mrs. Goldberg's Washroom, I headed towards hallway because Mrs. Dakota wanted me to change curtains of the hall room.

As soon as I entered in the hall room, Alex showed up talking with Mrs. Dakota. I quickly bowed in their respect. Of course reluctantly because there is no any option! I am their slave.

Alex was holding a sleeping girl in his arms. I wasn't really surprise to see the girl in his arms because it was very common thing for him to bring new innocent girl on every weekend. But I was little surprised because the girl was asleep. Had he drugged her? Many times the girl he brings with him comes voluntarily with him because they got attracted to his charms and they didn't have slightest intuition of what worst is going to happen with them.

So the thing is that Alex has caught new prey. I felt very bad for the poor girl but if she is really that innocent type then why she is wearing such skimpy dress.

I snapped out from my daze the moment when Alex ordered me to carry the girl and get her neat and clean so I quickly brushed off my thoughts and took the girl in wheelchair. Then I rushed to the washroom.

There was dried mud all over her back, hairs and her legs. How she got dirty this much? Her hairs were tangled and messed up on her face. I reached my hands to her hairs and moved away out of her face. I looked at her face, her face felt very calm and innocent. But my mom always used to say me that don't judge anyone just by their faces. Some faces may betray you by their charms and beauty. This beautiful girl has also trapped in the charm of Alex. Poor girl! I sighed sadly.

Oh my god! I wanted to get her clean within half an hour and here I wasted my five minutes....I should wake her up but what is her name?....heck!

"Wake up Miss, wake up!" I called few times but she didn't respond. Oh god, has Alex brought a deaf girl?

"Wake up miss" I patted on her cheek. Yet she is not responding. I sprinted to bathroom and fetched water. I sprinkled some drops on her face. She shook her head and fluttered her eyes. Hush! Finally she is awake!

Her eyes fluttered for few seconds while yawn escaped from her mouth. She opened her eyes however her eyes seemed groggy.

"Hello Miss, I am Jake, Could you please go to the washroom and get yourself ready? Master Alex is waiting for you" I said politely.

She blinked for twice and all of sudden she broke down in tears. She held her face with both of her hands and cried.

Oh god there is lot of confusion. I thought she came voluntarily with him, but she is crying it means something is wrong. "Shhh shhhh Please don't cry" I tried to sooth her but she is still crying.

"that...that bastard forcefully brought me here. I thought he was helping me but he wasn't" she said between her sobs.

Alex had abducted her, I shocked for a second. That's a breaking news. His alluring face didn't work on this girl.

Oh oh! What rubbish I am thinking!

"I can definitely understand your feelings, how it feels when someone dominates your life. Me, Anna are also suffering through the same situation but we should not give up the hope, because someone had said where there is a will there is a way." I said to comfort her. She stared me in disbelief.

Suddenly it clicked, Crap! How could I forget! Alex wanted to get her ready. Fifteen minutes left! I want to hurry up.

Abruptly, I changed the topic. "You are almost caked with mud. I think you should take a shower." I said gently. She glanced herself and realized that I was right and nodded in agreement. I pointed my finger and said "There is bathroom." I made her stand up from the wheelchair and gently pushed her in the bathroom.

"You take shower, I'll bring cloths for you" I yelled from outside and ran off to grab cloths for her.
