Chapter 11

I locked the bathroom door from inside.

I was scared at first and broke down in tears cursing things happening to me but however this boy, what was the name? hmm....remembered! Jake, I found him little kind towards me, his words made me little comfortable.

Small smile automatically came across my lips remembering how all the time, Jake was addressing me Miss.

I looked around. Bathroom was very large, clean and fancy. I took steps forward and stood in front of the mirror and noticed my reflection; there was mud all over on my dress, legs and hair. That reminds me the incident; they pushed me recklessly and I fell down in mud. I sighed.

I pulled that dirty dress out of my body and stood under the shower. I washed my body and hairs. Warm water caressed all over my skin and the dirt flowed away with the gushing water.

After some time I heard that someone was knocking the door.

"Miss, have you done? I brought cloths for you" Jake yelled from outside.

"Coming" I yelled back.

After taking enough shower, I gently pulled the knob and opened the door little only to show my face. I presumed that Jake would be standing there holding my cloths but as if to my surprise he wasn't there. It was a mid-age lady who was standing there and handed me cloths. Where had he disappeared suddenly?

She gave me nighty; it was plush & long maroon colour nighty. I felt satisfied for the dress. I pulled into nighty and got out of the bathroom. She was still standing there. She faintly smiled at me.

"My name is Anna. I am maid here. Please follow me, sire has sent me to take you their room." She said softly.

I hesitated to go with her. My legs were not ready to move from its place.

"We should get going Miss." She was sounding panic now.

I nodded reluctantly and followed her as she led the way. We were passing through very wide corridor. All the walls around were very tall above the ground level and built with grey stone blocks. Chandeliers were hanging on black ceiling. There was pin drop silence everywhere. Overall the atmosphere was sending awful shivers down my spine.

Anna was walking keeping my wrist in her hand. In half way I stopped walking, Anna realized that I am stopped so she tilted her head towards me; before she could talk anything I squeezed her hand with my shaky hand,

"Please stop, I don't want to meet your master; I don't want to meet anyone. I wanted to go my home. I request you to please help me to get out from here. Please..." I pleaded her as my eyes brimmed with tears.

Single tear escaped from her eye but she quickly hid it averting her eyes off me.

"Don't even think of running from here. It's next to impossible. If you try to run they will make your life worse than hell. Just do what they demand. Don't give them any chance to get angry on you" she said whole time with dread in her eyes. "Please don't forget my words." She trailed off.

She filled my heart with tremendous fear. I felt my blood was freezing inside.

We reached in front of the closed door; my face cringed in fear screaming silently at her face 'don't push me inside please'

I read her face; she was as vulnerable as me. She could do nothing but to follow the orders frigidly.

The door creaked half opened taking all breath out of me.

"Let the girl come inside Anna." An Eerie voice came from behind the door scaring the shit out of me.
