Chapter 34

*Third person pov*

"Be careful. We are in their dimension now" Shawn shushed everyone as they all went to the backside of the mansion.

"Guys, apply this to your body. This is scent hiding mask. This way they won't recognize us easily." Amber passed the liquid bottle to everyone.

"Hey...Where did you get that? This is very rare solution" Shawn asked wondering. "My father was King of Oak Vampires, It's few perks of being King's daughter" Amber winks.

"Now now...first we will find out Myra and make her safe." Jake said softly but they quickly got conscious as they heard the loud scream from one room followed by bolting of door and footsteps fading away. Jake's heart sank in his chest as he heard her voice.

They made sure no one is around that passage and Jake quickly moved to the room where the voice came from. Door was locked but he didn't bother to crack that lock with his inhuman strength. He opened the door to find Myra was lying on cold floor curled up in ball, her hair were mess, dress was torn brutally from her left side shoulder and blood seeping from her lips. He almost ran to his Myra taking her on his lap.

She was sobbing half consciously. He removed wisp of hair from her face gently and held her to his chest rubbing her back. "Myra it's me, Jake. I am here." He cooed soothing her. Little after, she got calm and opened her eyes slowly. She hugged him tight and cried on his shoulder.

"It's ok, it's ok. Look at me Myra." He made her to look into his eyes. "I want to take you to safe place as soon as possible then I will kill that bastard." She nodded like little kid. He kissed her forehead and helped her to stand up. Then he quickly lifted her in his arms and ran outside.

"Jake, Shawn and I, three of us will go and finish that bloody pig Alex and Jason will take care of Myra till we came back" Amber declared as soon as they entered in big nursery of rare plants in that huge mansion.

"But we got Myra then why aren't we running off this place. We are only four Vampires how can we fight against them?" Jason asked anxiously.

"Because if we will try to run away they will get us one or other day so it's of no use. Better we fight today." Jake said sternly.

"Ok" Jason said sighing. He was still frightened to stay there on his own. Now they were about to walk when Amber stopped "Jake wait, I think you should convert her, NOW" "WHAT" Jake asked incredulously, "But look at her she is not in position to handle it. I don't think it's good idea to convert her now"

"Look, it's only chance Jake. We don't know how many Red Vampires are inside this mansion. If suppose we lose this fight, At least she won't suffer much because of her human form and possibly get success to run off from here. So you please think about it." Amber said in urgent voice.

Myra couldn't hold back her tears as soon as she realized what Amber meant. They all were going to fight against Alex and his gang which was similar to going inside mouth of death. She embraced Jake and sniffled in his chest. Jake understood her emotions, giving her warm squeeze he quickly pulled her away as they didn't have much time.

"Myra, this will hurt you lot but this is the only way to keep you safe right" Jake said cupping her face. She nodded softly in agreement. He leaned on her neck and piercing her neck with his fangs he inserted his venom into her flesh. Jake had to stop her from screaming loudly by pressing her mouth with his hand. He felt guilty of himself but he was so helpless. She started pushing him away with all the strength she could gather in her fragile hands which made him cry too but he can't let it go.

Amber took hold of Myra from Jake's arms and kept her gently on the Iceland. Jake was so much weak and out of breath. Amber instructed him to drink Myra's blood. It's the only way he could get his strength back. Jake had no choice left with so he took her wrist and drank her blood. Soon he got his strength back. They hid Myra's body with dry leaves and bushes.

Amber ordered Jason to stay there and take care of Myra as they headed for their mission.
