I was running late to the Abduction Realization meeting. I hurried hoping I wouldn't be too late, I didn't like being late, because I didn't want to miss anything. This meeting was my only chance to talk to people who didn't think I was crazy. I thought of everyone at the meeting. All of us had lost so much after being abducted. Many of us lost family and friends who thought we were mental or just looking for attention. I knew I wasn't mental, nor was I in need of anymore attention. My late husband had given me all the attention I never wanted with his drinking.

My abduction was very real, I had a scar to prove it. I finally arrived at the meeting, we meet up at Thomas Tidwell's home, he ran our meetings each week. He started the group after he went missing in 2002, and came home three days later. He told his wife his abduction story, he was looking for an answer, and her answer was a divorce. I pulled my car in the driveway behind my friend Melody's tan mini-van. Melody was a good friend, her abduction story was similiar to mine. I jumped out of my car, I felt a relaxed feeling almost immediatley. It felt so good knowing I was about to be among friends.

I knocked at the door, Thomas opened it with a big smile.

"Come on in Brook." He said.

"Hello" I told everyone.

"Brook's here!" Melody cried from the other side of room.

"Brook! Come here." Nick waved me over to him.

I walked over, Nick had several pictures he'd drawn. He told me it was the aliens that landed on his farm last september. I sat down and studied his drawings. Their features looked surprisingly like those I had encountered.

"They look so familiar" I told him.

"Really" His eyes widened.

"Yes it's really amazing how much they remind me of them" I looked at him seriously.

"I hope my pictures don't upset you" Nick worried.

"No,  your fine, I just wish I had answers."

"We all want answers." Melody said softly, wrapping her arm around me.

"I know," I whispered sadly.

Thomas stood in the middle of the room. Everyone looked at him, we all knew that meant we were getting started.

"There are refreshments in my dinning room. please help yourself I have cookies and other goodies." He told us smiling.

"I need to snag a few cookies." I giggled.

"So as the leader of this group, I'm happy to announce we have a new member." Thomas said.

"Super, we need more people." Nick exclaimed.

"He's been through what most of us have, except he claims he has direct communication with them, through telepathic means." Thomas informed.

I was so intrigued  my hand flew up without thinking it through.

"One minute" Thomas smiled at my enthusiasm.

"His name is Mason Bateman. He moved here from Chicago last May. He found our website, and felt he could teach us some things he's learned. Okay now questions, Brook your hand was up?" Thomas asked.

Everyone was talking and whispering, Mason was a tall brunette, with muscle, he was really cute. I was excited by the possibility of communicating with the aliens. i didn't know what he meant by telepathic but I was going to try to find out.

"Please tell me how this is possible, the communication part,  telepathic right?" I asked.

"It's simple really, all of us have five senses, sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell. Telepathy is the direct transference of thought or feeling without the use of our normal senses."
