My Alien Daughter Lin

Chapter 13

I stood speachless, staring at Lin, it seemed unreal. I couldn't imagine how she could of gotten away from those awful men.  I grabbed her and gave her the biggest hug any Mother probably gave any child

"I'm so happy your okay." I cried.

"Good to see you kid." Mason told her.

Mason joined in, and we were all hugging. Lin kissed me all over my face. She saw her kitty, and reached down and picked Stephanie up.

"What happened?" I asked her.

."Will I get punished?" 

"Punished what are you talking about.?

"You said if I don't do what you say I get punished" she said sadly.

Mason looked at me weird. Lin made me seem like a monster. 

"Lin how do I explan this." 

"Yes, please." Mason asked teasing.

"No Lin was using her energy, she used it to force a star football player in a chair because he was being a total douche bag. He couldn't move. The school was about ready to call the police. I didn't want her in trouble, so I told her if she did it again she would get punished. Like grounded, nothing horrible"

"Ah." Mason snickered.

"So anyway, no your not in any trouble."

"Good,  what is douche bag," Lin asked.

"Don't worry about that right now, tell us what happened its very important that we know." 

Lin looked at us seriously, she put Stephanie down on the couch and sat next to her. Looking at us she began to tell her story.

"The men told me that if I didn't come with them they would kill you. I didn't want them to kill you. So I did everything they told me to do. They took me to a big building, with lots of locked doors. They took me to a big room. They kept me there, it was lonely and I missed you. I knew they were going to do bad, strange things to me. I heard them talk about opening my body to look inside. I was scared. 

 When they opened the door this morning. I floated to the ceiling they couldnt see me. I stayed up on top and used my energy to put them all to sleep. They're still sleeping.

"How do you know that?" I asked her.

"I learned the sleeper from Father." she told us.

"Why didn't you use the sleeper at the cabin." Mason asked.

"I was so upset that day, and I didn't think about it." Lin looked sad.

"So you forgot." I asked.

"I was too upset, could not think." 

"Its okay, we all get that way." I told her.

"Lin I'm glad your here and away from those men. I hate to tell you this, but eventually their going to come here. So you have to go home. Back to your Father." Mason told her.

Lin started to cry, we all cried with her. 

"I love you Mother, I love my kitty, I love my friend Stephanie, and I love Mason. Please dont make me go." Lin cried.

"You know we don't want too." I cried.

"Lin its the only way, even with your energy powers that's not enough to make them leave you alone"

Lin opened the window, she looked out at the sky.  

"I will see my Father soon, I know he misses me. I'm on my way Father."
