"And now the weather with Henry Golding,"

"Thanks Barb today's forecast will be rainy with a high around seventy, tonight will be a low around forty and it will still be rainy, tomorrow there is a ninety percent chance for more showers with a high also in the mid seventies."

The room was lit by the dim glow of the screen of the alarm clock, the blinds covered the window on a already gloomy day. The covers rustled with a mild groan and finally feet slid out and hunted for slippers.

" Another Monday morning, just like all the others dull and dark."

He stepped zombie-like to the bathroom and got ready to head out for school. As he made his way past the kitchen he caught a glimpse of the Tv. He saw the storm system moving in, the cold front moving in with the warm front set to collide with it right over their heads later in the afternoon. He grabbed the toaster pastries his mother had made and rushed out the door. He got into his blue P.T cruiser which his grandpa had won for him and set off early to school. Driving west he could see in the distance cumulus clouds all puffy and cauliflower like even though the sun was just starting to rise behind him. When he reached the school five other cars pulled in near him.

"Hey you ready to get working on the project?"The driver of the red suburban next to him yelled.

"Yeah hopefully during lunch tomorrow we can finally run the first test."she screeched back.

The driver was female with beautiful long auburn hair, her face speckled with freckles and her eyes blue as the ocean. Jacob wasn't in love with her though, she was too spurratic and was very hyper active. Jacob wore an neon orange shirt that had text refurring to the variety show last year in which they sang Disney songs. He wore blue carpenter jeans and had his Samsung galaxy S7 clipped onto his belt. He was born a dirty blonde with blue eyes. Ever since his parents showed him the movie Twister, he has had a fascination for weather. Now that he is eighteen and he has been working on a major project for the science fair. He has kept this project a secret from everybody except the few people working alongside him.

"Hey, Jacob can you come help me carry the five gallon flask out of my truck, I got it filled last night for our first test run."

"Sure let me get the cart out of my car and I'll help with the ramps."

In the back of his P.T. Cruiser was a red wagon and several gas cylinders with labels saying He and H, he grabbed the wagon and took it over to Harolds truck, they carried the heavy silver five gallon flask and loaded it into the cart, they ran the cart over to the P.T.Cruiser and put the gas cylinders along side the flask. Then they started tword the school doors.

"So how's your father? Is he still having trouble with his legs?"Harold questioned

"Yeah, now we have to get him a motorized wheel chair, as his MS has continued to get worse."

"Oh, that's sad to hear, yeah when I had my broken leg it was hard enough with the crutches I can't imagine how it must be to spend the rest of your life in a wheelchair."

We went inside heaving and out of breath because the wagon was hard to pull with all the weight on it. We finally got to room 318. Brittney held open the door for us, she had short black hair and mostly wore plain t-shirts with blue jeans and she always had on this necklace of yin and yang.

"So today we finish construction of MACASP and tomorrow we test it, man, it seems like this past few years just flew by"Brittney whispered to herself.

"Let's hope that Donovan finishes the algorithm for MACASP. I know he's been working hard on it but we do have a window we have to meet" I blurted out.
