Elena's POV
I fell into Stefan's arms and he looked me In the eyes, he was speechless for words as he saw me, I had to admit he looked really smart in his suit and tux. He looked me up and down and we were a few inches apart face to face and my breathing got heavier as my lips nearly touched his, I looked down trying to avoid eye contact as I could see Damon watching us carefully.
"You look beautiful" he smiled and looked at me
"You look very smart Stefan" I paused
Our hands gripped together and we started to dance, our eyes fixed upon each other's, I could feel the chemistry building but I could see Damon out of the corner of my eye dancing with Rebekah, I felt jealousy rage up inside of me like it was ready to burst out of my lungs of how much hatred I had for him and her together, she looked so dolled up just for one event, I hated her and I hadn't even met her properly. Stefan kept looking over at me and then he grabbed my hand and twirled me around and I fell back into his Arms.
Being with Stefan felt normal but being with Damon it felt crazy and adventurous, Stefan was so lovely and smart and handsome and there was something about him that I couldn't shake but Damon was always the one for me.
Caroline's POV
I sipped my glass of champagne and then Klaus came over as I watched Elena and Stefan dance, their tension was incredible but Damon was so jealous and he wasn't even interested in Elena, I had a little laugh under my breath and klaus looked over and chuckled.
"My sister got pied again I see" he laughed
"Yep by good old Damon Salvatore" I grinned quietly
"Come outside" he smiled
"What why?" I asked
"I have something to show you" He grinned
"Klaus if it's this massive carriage with white horses I will kill you" I joked
"Come on" he smiled
He led me outside and we stepped out into the breeze and walked down a few lanes, it was such a beautiful garden with so many flowers and then I saw a massive white horse, it was so beautiful, it reminded me of back home when mystic falls used to be normal and safe. I smiled and gasped and he stood behind me.
"Klaus I wasn't actually being serious.." I paused
