Klaus's POV
Yesterday, I had finally returned to Mystic Falls, after centuries of running i finally came back and the first person I saw was the only girl I had ever loved, Caroline Forbes. I saw her going into a small but nice little house with someone called Elena Gilbert who was her best friend, I hadn't met Elena before but I had done my research, She's Damon Salvatore's ex girlfriend who left 4 years ago as she was struggling with being a vampire and she had been Caroline's best friend for a while, Caroline and I had been best friends since we were little and then my family and I had to move due to our enemies finding out that we w ere the original vampires, Caroline was the only girl I ever loved and I saw her blue crystal eyes stare right at mine and she ran inside, It must of been a shock to her.
I saw Tyler Lockwood enter Elena's house yesterday and Caroline looked so happy to see him, They waved goodbye to Elena and walked out hand in hand and Caroline kept her eyes away from mine avoiding contact as much as possible, rage rose up inside of me so i ran back home.
I woke up inside my warm bedroom and climbed out of bed and buttoned up my black t-shirt and put on some dark trousers, I could smell pancakes all the way from the kitchen, I walked into the emerald green living room and lunged myself onto the brown leathered sofa and realised Rebekah wasn't here and then i saw my brother Elijah at the kitchen table stiring a bowl of pancake mix
"Where's Rebekah?" I asked
"She must of stayed out" he responded
"As usual" i sighed
"Pancakes Niklaus?" Elijah asked
"Yes I am starving" I grinned
"Of course you are" he laughed
Caroline's POV
I woke up in the arms of my boyfriend, I felt safe and protected now that he was back but I still couldn't stop thinking about Klaus, why was he back here? Tyler kissed my neck repeatedly and then i laughed and he smiled and then he saw that something was wrong with me but i didn't want to worry him as he had only just got back.
"Okay care bear whats up?" He asked
"Nothing its fine" I smiled
"Don't lie to me Care, whats happened?" He asked
"My ex is back in town.." I paused
"So i leave for a week and your ex suddenly comes back, does the man ever give up?" Tyler asked confused
"Tyler its okay i promise, He's with his family, he doesn't need to come near us" I sighed
"Well as long as he doesn't touch or look at you then its all cool" he smiled
