Lyss POV

I wake and notice I'm still in wolf form so I nudge him with my nose. He stirs but doesn't wake up automatically so I nudge him harder. He wakes and looks at me before sitting up. Lyss? Yep.  Its L-Luke and before you reject me you need to hear me out. Okay I will listen to your story then decide what to do. Thanks Lyss. You shouldn't try to run or ignore us since we can always find you sweetheart. We were chosen to be mates by the moon goddess herself so why fight the bond she has blessed us with? Also I know our inner wolves have marked each other so it would be unfair to cause them pain by being apart. WHAT?! I howl in surprise before grabbing my clothes to shift. I walk back to Luke and see him shirtless, I can't help but drool just a little. I hear him chuckle before saying see something you like? Maybe, maybe not I say and bit my lip. He moves closer and says well I definitely I love what I see. I blush and ask what's that? But fully knowing he means me. You. You're so beautiful Alyssa. No I'm really not. Yes you are. He leans closer and kisses me before I can respond again with no. I stay frozen for a minute before I return the kisses. We keep kissing until I move away for some air and he keeps kissing down my neck to where my mark will be. "Um Luke, this is too soon. I'm not meant for you and you should be with someone who's better than me. WHY?! Cuz I have so much scars, baggage and shit that I don't want you to carry or be associated with. It will ruin you so please don't choose me but choose anyone else. Please! I plead but see the emotions in his eyes. No Alyssa, I need you to live.... I would be ruining myself if I wasn't with you. I sense he's on the verge of shifting so I put his head in the crook of my neck where my scent is strongest to calm him/Ryan down. Luke I want to say yes but I can't till you show me that I can trust you and that you won't play with my heart. We'll just be friends but I will allow you to hug and hold my hand at school & home since our wolves will want to be close but no kisses unless its Mari & Ryan doing the kissing. Got it?! Yes ma'am. He hugs me and Mari purrs loudly.

Damn I'm probably in deep shit for missing dinner and staying the night. I should get going. I climb up the oak tree to grab my stuff before climbing down to the outside of the meadow. I check my phone to see about a thousand missed calls & texts from family, Cloe, Nate and Alpha. Shit the alphas' are involved, I'm in the deepest shit ever. I hear Luke call Lyss wait! as I'm walking home. Yes-s? I turn towards Luke as he runs to me. Where are you going sweetheart? Why are you in the deepest shit ever? Woah one question at a time Wolfie boy. I'm headed home and am in shit because I missed calls & texts from the Alpha, parents and best friends. Also since I stayed here in my secret meadow, well not secret anymore, overnight with telling anyone. Don't worry I won't tell anyone about the meadow sweetheart. So now I must go home to face the music. Well I can't let you go alone, I will walk with you back to school then drive you home so we can talk with your family. No. I should do this on my own otherwise they will put all the blame on you, not me. Why not?! Cause they'll think we've fully mated if we say we were together in the meadow! I feel his nervousness about my safety and so I calm Luke by saying I promise they would never intentionally hurt me, they would die for me so don't worry love. I see Luke telling Ryan to calm down too. Okay I understand Lyss but link me after you talk with the family, promise? Yes I promise to link ya when I'm done talking to the crazies. Now lets go Luke, he whines and asks why can't we stay in our meadow ? It's so peaceful here. Cuz it was never your meadow to begin with, I found it 9 years ago so technically its my meadow and l never agreed to share it with you. You won't share even with me, your super handsome and sexy mate who would do anything and everything for you? He pleads with a huge smile that makes me melt. I'll think about it Lukey. :]
