Luke's POV(not going to do their whole txt conversation)

I smile as I hear my ringtone go off and know its my mate Lyss. I open the text: tht went well. I send wat happened sweetheart? I sit on my bed and wait for her response. A minute later I hear *ding*ding*ding* I see she responded within 3 texts. I send aw sorry. Wow shoulda made bets on them 😁. I send a joking face too. I text with her for about 2 hours before she sends "I should stop hidin out in my room & go be social w my fam." I send Okay go ahead sweetheart. She replies with an okay bye. I send later ❤.

I change my radio to 100.7 Khay country as I strip and hop in the cold shower. Thanks Ryan was being an ass by showing me dirty images of our mate causing an instant boner arose so a c-cold shower for me. I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner, rinse it & wash my body. I dry off and pull on boxers and sweats before leaving my bathroom. I hear soft jazzy music has replaced my country station, I wonder who though. I walk out and see my ex, Brit aka slut sitting on my bed in a bikini that was clearly too small but showed off her plastic boobs. I clear my throat to get her attention. "Hi baby!" Britney what the hell are you doing here?! "I miss you and want you back." No we're through and done. "Baby..." NO! NOW GET OUT OF MY FUCKING HOUSE BEFORE I DO IT MYSELF!! I yell with my alpha voice, Britney runs out of my room and I relax thinking that was close. I wouldn't have let you do anything with that slut bag.

I walk downstairs to see what Mom's cooking. Hey Ma, how are ya? "I'm good boy, but I need a proper hug." (Get the reference from the Blindside?!)

I smile and give her a hug before asking what ya makung for supper? My southern drawl(accent) coming out, its how I was born and raised til we moved here to California about 2 years ago. I can talk without the drawl with others but I let down the walls when I'm with my family since we all understand the drawl.
Chiken n wuffles dear. Yum I'm gonna get Dad. I walk to the barn where Dad spends most his free time in there since Charlie died. (Charlie was Luke's older brother)

Its maybe 15 feet from the house. Pops you ever gonna ride that ole horse or just star at et for years? I stand next to him at Tink's stall.

Tink is a pinto stallion that was Char loved as much as his own mate. I hear him say someday son. I can sense he's tired so I say how bout I feed these guys and you go wash up for supper. Ma's got your favorite chiken n wuffles waiting for ya. "Okay son thanks ." I walk into the tack room and grab a bucket for Tink's grain, I measure out the grain for Tinker. I walk back to his stall and I place the bucket in for Tink to eat. I refill his water trough before giving our other horses their food and water for the night. I help Pa into his chair after I wash up before sitting in mine. Ma says grace over the food and finally we can eat. Mm.... Ma! I've missed your cooking! "Luke you eat with us every Sunday, how can you miss it? Thanks hun." Cause having your homecooked food is amazing compared to my food.

We all finish dinner and Ma starts to get up to clean and do the dishes but I quickly take the dishes from her hands. I'll do the dishes Ma, you go relax with Dad in the living room. "Nonsense I put dessert out then go sit down" Ma I'm capable of serving dessert too, just go relax. I've got it under control. I wash the dishes and pull out dessert, its chocolate lava cake with ice cream for me and Ma but apple pie with ice cream for Pops. I bring out Mom's and Dad's dessert before coming back with my own bowl of dessert and sitting on the couch across from the recliner and rocking chairs that Ma and Pop are in. I try to slowly eat my dessert but fail as I quickly consume it. Thanks for the extra weight Ma. "Anytime sweetie" I take their bowls and wash them too. We chat for a while before I decide to go to bed. Goodnight Ma, Dad. "Sleep well Lukey, son."

I lay on my bed and check my phone for texts before going to sleep. I see one sent 30 minutes ago from Lyss saying sweet dreams Luke and Ryan, I love you so much. See u 2moro. I smile and send sleep well my beautiful mate. I'll be there to pick u up 4 school. I love you forever xoxo. I turn off my lights and close my eyes going to sleep with a smile on my face.
