-a couple weeks later-
School has been really uneventful, Emily and Ethan constantly lip-locking everywhere I go!
Right now I'm doodling all over my notebook during home room. Then the announcements come on.
"And don't forget this Friday is the homecoming dance, starting at 7, hope you can join us!!"
Rachel leans over to me, from her desk and says, "you. me. the mall today after school homecoming shopping!"
"Alright fine."

After school Rachel grabs me and we head to her car, and we're off.
When we arrive we head straight to the prom dress/formal dress outlet store and start looking. Once Rachel and I have our arms full of dresses we head to the fitting rooms and start trying everything on.
"Now that's pretty, but it just doesn't do anything for your figure."
"Purple isn't your color dear here try the one I just tried on."
"Wait wait! that's it oh my gosh you look so beautiful!"
"You too! these are so the ones!"
We pay for our dresses and head home, we'll get shoes and other stuff later.

While I'm doing my homework I hear my phone go off.
"Hey Alli what's up?" its Ethan!
"Nm just doing my homework. how about u??"
"Watching tv. R u going to homecoming?" Why would he ask me that he has a girlfriend, unless he still likes me?, But no.
"Yeah r u going with Emily?"
"Yeah. u going with anyone?"
"No sorry I have to finish this."
"Ok bye :)"
"Bye :)"
I fall back on my bed and sigh
'Why is my life so complicated! one minute he's kissing Emily then the next minute he's flirting with me!' Eventually I fall asleep from exhaustion and confusion.
