~past: in the park~

Ethan and I had been going out for 2 months now, and everything was going great! Ethan had texted me earlier and asked if I wanted to go on a date that night, and of course I said yes! We were now walking through the park. Fireflies flitted around and a cricket sounded off on the distance. Ethan took my hand and said

"I love you Alli."

"I love you too Ethan," I answered.

Then he leaned in and kissed me!

I swear fireworks went off around us!

-present-

I woke up with a smile on my face. I haven't been able to get rid of it since I started hanging out with Ethan again, and it's driving me mad!!! I get up and go downstairs for breakfast my mom and dad left me a note in the kitchen,

'Alli,

Dad and I had some errands to run, and we didn't want to wake you so we left without you. Enjoy your Saturday morning! We love you!

Love- mom+dad'

'Alright whatever,' I sighed and opened the fridge, and grabbed the carton of milk.

After breakfast I decided to go to the mall with my friend Rachel, who doesn't steal your ex-boyfriends who you may or may not still have feelings for! Anyway Rachel and I had been shopping for about an hour, and had decided to get some food. As we were sitting down I heard I laugh that could only belong to one person. I looked over and saw Emily sitting on Ethan's lap, an they were kissing! Emily just kept giggling with that horribly obnoxious laugh that could make a person want to rip off their ears and burn them. Rachel looked over and scoffed, "can you believe them Al?" "Nope.... I can't," was all I could say. Why is Ethan suddenly having such an affect on me? Then a security guard went over to Ethan and Emily and told them to tone it down! 'Hahahahahaha!' I couldn't believe my eyes I wanted to personally go over and high-five the security guard who stopped them!

"Hey Alli." I'm suddenly pulled out of my thoughts when Ethan calls over to me. "hey Ethan," I answer. Emily says nothing, but she manages to stare at Ethan in disbelief and glare at me at the same time. Rachel and I leave the mall with a ton of new clothes and had a really good day together, I really missed her over the summer, on account of she was at summer camp all summer.
