Recap:

"Hey,"I blushed, "so where are we going?"

"Not telling it's a surprise," he smirked at me, and just about made me melt into a puddle on his truck floor.

"Ready for the ride of your life?" he asked me.

"I'm ready for anything," I replied confidently

We drove for a while with the radio with the radio on giving some background noise.

"Soooo are we there yet," I ask in a little girl voice.

"Almost," he answers.

We drive for about five more minutes before he pulls over and looks at me.

"What...?" I ask feeling self-conscious.

He hands me a blindfold and says, "here put this on, and no peeking!"

"Fine," I mumble, and put it on fluffing my hair out of it.

He starts up the car again and starts humming to the radio. Finally he stops the car, and I reach up to take the blindfold off. Suddenly Ryan slaps my hand away, "don't! not yet," he warns.

I take my hands away, and unbuckle my seatbelt but before I could open my door Ryan sprinted around the car and opened my door for me.

"Why thank you, what a gentleman."

"Oh you know it baby," he says while offering me his arm I gladly take it.

"Can I take off my blindfold now?"

"Hang on..... okay now!"

I reach up, and untie it then slowly take it off. I take in my surroundings and I am blown away; before me lies a quiet beach, with the light just so. 'This is like a fairy tale.' I think to myself.

"Wow!" is all I can say.

Ryan bends down and spreads out a picnic blanket, and puts down a picnic basket. We both sit and he opens the basket up.

"I hope you like spaghetti."

"I love it!"

We eat and talk and laugh, before we know it the sun has began to go down.

"Oh wow it's really late," I say almost disappointed I had a really good time tonight.

"Yeah it is I guess we should head back home." We start to pick up the blanket and basket.

"Well here we are," he says as he pulls into my driveway right on time too, I still have ten minutes to curfew.

"Thank you so much I had a really fun time tonight."

"No problem it was my pleasure," he says leaning in.

'OH GOD HE'S GOING TO KISS ME!! stay calm and-'

Before I can finish my thought his lips are on mine. Our lips move in perfect harmony for who knows how long when we finally pull apart he looks at me and smiles.

"I have something to ask you," he says.

"Yeah?"

"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asks very confidently not a hint of uncertainty in his voice, but I can see a slight hint of nervousness in his eyes.

"I think I'm gonna go with yes," I answer smiling.

"Really?" I nod.

He leans in and kisses me quick.

"I'll see you tomorrow girlfriend," he smirks at me.

"Yes you will boyfriend," then I get out of the car and walk to my front door. I turn wave goodbye once more before disappearing into my home. I make my way upstairs to my room, and once I'm there I close my door and lean against it grinning like an idiot.

'Please don't break my heart' I plead to myself hoping Ryan can somehow hear my thoughts. I sigh and get ready for bed a smile never leaving my face until I finally fall asleep.
