This story takes place post- Winter Soldier and pre- Civil War. Given the past events, Nick Fury has decided to put together a school for enhanced individuals, much like Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters. (Yes, I am including mutants instead of In-humans. Deal with it) These young people, most of them anyways, are on the run from organizations like HYDRA, the Ten Rings, or other such groups. S.H.E.I.L.D not only educates these people, they also protect them. Some can train to be a part of the Avengers, or to be an agent, but many are here to be protected from the criminal groups that hunt them. Many non-enhanced join as well, simply to train to be a part of S.H.E.I.L.D. Angie Miol is a 20 year old mutant with wings, and she also has an attitude (and powers) as fiery as her red hair. Becky Eagleheart is Angie's roommate, and at 18 is one of the youngest at the Academy. She trains hard to be as powerful and as respected as her personal hero, Natasha Romanoff. Will McLaughlin is a magic wielding sorcerer from Asgard. Both his parents are demigod, but as he is considered too mortal to stay in the golden city, he decided to join the Acdemy and protect his "uncle" Thor's favorite world. Lydia Witherton is a non-enhanced human dedicated to showing that humans can compete on the same level as the big boys. Put this crew together, and just see what happens. Stand back everybody, the Avengers-in-training are coming onto the scene.
