*****Caroline's POV*****

After hours of torturous pain, I finally gave in and fell into the blackness. I have no idea how long I was asleep for this time.

When I woke up, I was still in just as much pain as I was before. The only difference was that now I was alone. Caine had finally left.

I honestly didn't know how much more of that I could take. He hurt me in every way imaginable. Physically, mentally, sexually, emotionally. It was horrible. I didn't want to die, but there was no way in hell that I was going to be his mate.

Tears started to fall down my cheeks. I didn't even bother to try and hide them, there was no use. I was alone. No one was going to save me, no one knew I was missing. And even if they did, I was a rouge. I had no pack to worry about me.

I heard footsteps coming towards the door again. I coward against the wall, praying that it would swallow me so I wouldn't have to deal with what was about to happen.

The door opened and to my surprise, it wasn't Caine. It was the guy who kidnapped me to begin with. Blake? I think that was his name.

"Hello, kitten. We meet again." He purred at me, trying to sound sexy. It failed miserably and just made me shiver in disgust.

As he started walking towards me, he started to take his shirt off. No. Not again. I tried to back away as much as I could. The chains and the wall didn't give much leeway.

"Don't make me hurt you."

I stopped moving.

"That's a good girl." He was now right in front of me, naked.

Thanks to Caine, I was already naked. He had already disposed of my clothes long ago.

I started to cry even harder than before and tried to fight him off as best as I could, as he started to lay me down.

"The more you fight, the worse it'll be for you."

I froze instantly.

He continued his assault on my body, shoving his tongue in my mouth. I didn't fight it. I just sat there crying, praying this would all be over soon.

*****Exander's POV*****

We made it to Caine's pack in record time. All my worriers ran as fast as they could, trying to get to the girl before something bad happened to her. The whole way there all I could think was, what if we were too late? What if Caine had already killed her? I mean, what did he gain from taking her anyways?

It didn't matter why he took her, I was going to get her back. No one would ever hurt her again. It didn't matter if she was my mate or not. She would become a part of my pack, regardless, and I would protect her. She has seen too much horror in her short life time.

The half to my left, go around to the west of the house. Right, go to the east. Find me the cells, that is where he will be keeping her. Remember, kill who you must. If they surrender, give them the choice to join our pack or death. Spare the women and children at all costs. Tell them to head south and we will take care of them. If you can, bring Caine back to our land. No one touches the girl but me. If you find her, tell me immediately. Is that understood? I mind-linked the pack.

There was stomping of paws and growls heard throughout the forest. I knew that they were ready for this fight. And I knew that they would do what I had asked. I nodded my head, and they all took off, silently. I was hoping to get in and out without too much damage done. I had brought the right group for the job.
