I woke up with my damn baby cousin crying in the room. I sigh looking at the time. Its 10 in the morning on this fine sunny Sunday. I hop out the bed with my booty shorts and crop top on. I also had on my Nike slides. I went to his room finding him standing up. He was only 10 months old.
"Come on, your damn momma or aunt should of come gotten you" I said grabbing him. I walk out his room going downstairs. I walk in the living room to see my other cousin watching TV. "Where momma and aunt Theresa at?"
"Outside smoking like a chimney girl" my baby cousin who was five said. I started laughing opening the screen door. I look to my left seeing them smoking and talking.
"Oh look who up" my aunt said smiling.
"He woke me up, why you didn't check on him" I said sitting on the swing watching them on the steps.
"Girl I don't have time for another child" aunt Theresa said.
"Then why your ass had them" my mom ask then put the cigarette in her mouth.
"So Anthony can pay child support and I can get welfare" I shook my head.
"Food steps gone, so I don't know what you gone do" my mom said.
"Oh well, I dont know why they got rid of that shit"
"People kept selling them, instead of spending it in kids, they got rid of it" I rolled my eyes.
"Well that's them" my aunt said.
"You wash the dishes?"my mom ask.
"I'm bout to" I got up bout to give my baby cousin to my aunt.
"I don't won't him" she said causing him to cry. I sigh walking back in the house. I gave my baby cousin to my lil cousin who was 14.
"Watch him" I said. She nod her head while on her phone.
I walk in the kitchen to start on the dishes till my phone started ringing. I ran upstairs to my iPhone 6 to see who called me. It was my dad. I answer the phone quickly.
Phone Convo
Me- "hello"
Dad- "what yall doing"
Me- "I'm bout to wash dishes, why you wanted momma"
Dad- "nah, I talk to her already, listen I have a surprise for you"
Me- "Ok"
Dad- "Ok, love you baby girl"
I brought my phone and speaker downstairs. I plug it up and put on notorious big and r. Kelly, I'm loving you tonight. I dance around thinking about Jordan.
"You must be use to be spending, and all that sweet wining and dining. I'm loving you tonight" I heard my aunt sung behind me.
"Really" I said cleaning my hands.
"Girl yes that was the days, what you know about that" she said.
"I just know" I said smiling.
"Mhmm, I bet it was that Jordan boy, his old ass" she said looking in the cabinet. "Tina, you remember his daddy, that was a fine ass man. Then he was a biker, lawd help me"
"His dad still is" I said.
"He is, girl give me your trade number"
"My trade, aunt Theresa don't play with me" I laugh.
"Alright, but I'm forreal hook a girl up" she said.
"So you can make more children" my mom said.
"Hell nah, i just want a taste" she nudge me laughing making me laugh.
"Chill bill" I said.
"No I'm Caroline. She's a bad thing, fine as hell, thick as fuck, oh my God, that's my baby"she started twerking.
"Are you serious" I laugh.
"Theresa stop with ya old ass" my mom kick her butt.
"Girl I'm having fun" she said.
This is why I love my family.
