I swung back and forward on the swings with destiny. It was like we was 7 years old again.
"Destiny, aren't you pregnant" I said.
"Yeah, so what?"
"You think something gone happen to the baby if you keep swing" I laugh.

"Hoe who you playing with?" She said making me laugh.
"I playing with your thot ass" I said.

"Girl, I can't believe this" I said.
"What?"she look at me.
"I'm 20 years old. I'm having another kid on the way, taking care of one, and I was this close to getting married" I smile. "Life girl, life"
"Yeah" she smile at Travis who was on the porch talking to my dad. "You know Zea, I compare you to a lioness"

"Your strong, fierce, beautiful, can take care her kids. Protect her kids. Have a family like a pride, always attract the good looking men" she laugh making me laugh.
"I want to see how our kids gone be" I said.
"Zaria gone be like you. Good looking and smart. And that other baby, I don't know yet"
"I don't want Jr to be like his damn daddy" I said.
"He won't" destiny said.
"Girls! dinner ready!" my mom yelled.
"You still moving to Miami?" destiny ask as we walk to the house.
"I might. Just to get away from shit" I said.

"Pass me the mash" I said to Travis who was to busy talking to one of the gang members.
"Bruh, you see me talking. Say excuse me sir"
I stared at him for a second. "Travis pass me the mash"
"No" he said passing it to my mom.
"Mom, please pass me the mash"
"Here" she gave me the bowl. Travis rolled his eyes and shook his head as I laugh at him.
"So, Zea what's your plan for now?"my aunt ask. I still don't know what to do. Maybe move away from New Orleans, go to Miami and start over there with my kids.
" move away"I smile.
"Move!" My dad yelled.
"Yes dad, I want to start over" I said.
"You can start over here"my dad said. I sigh looking at the ceiling.
"Eric, let her go" my mom said. "I understand Zea. You want to get away from this shit. I wish I can too" she smile at me.
"When you leaving?"my aunt ask.
"In a few months" I said.
"Okay" my dad nod his head.
"God Ima miss you"my mom came and hug me. We hug for a minute till we heard a knock at the door.
"Who's that?" My dad said. My uncle got up and walk to the door. He open it and Jordan walk in. "What you want?"
"I want to talk to Zea" he said looking at me. My mom wouldn't let me go but my dad nod his head. She let go and walk back to her seat.
I got up and walk to the door where Jordan was. We went outside closing the door. "So what is it?"
He look down at his feet and back at me. He then turn his head to the window and shook his head. I turn my head to the window seeing my mom, dad, uncle, aunt, destiny, and Travis.
"Let's go that way" I pull his hand. We walk on the grass not saying nothing.
"Soooo uh, I wanted to apologize about what I did to you when Zaria was born and how I left Jordan"--" I couldn't stop thinking about you that every time I have sex with Alyssa, I moan your name"

"Not lying. Alyssa wanted a divorce" he sigh. "She took the kids and left to California"
"Oh damn" I turn around and smile hard. "That's fuck up"

"Well I'm leaving to Miami in a few months. Me and the kids" I said.
"I want to go with you" that was a shock..
"With me?" I said.
"Yeah, there's nothing for me here" he said.
"Well, if you do leave with me. You have to get a job in Miami, buy your kids clothes, and have to make me your one and only" I smile.
"I will grant you your wishes" he came up to me and kiss my lips. We kiss for seconds till....
"AYE, I KNOW Y'ALL ASSESS AIN'T BOUT TO MAKE ANOTHER BABY"my dad said.
" NO"jordan yell back.
"Okay carry on" we both laugh and kiss each other again.
