Leigh's POV
Shawn is everything I could ever ask for and more. He is so sweet and actually hilarious. This morning was an actual modern fairy tale. I was reminiscing in my memories of this morning while I was interrupted by my ringtone.
"Hello." I said taking a sip of my tea because you can take the girl out of England, but you can't take England out of the girl!
"Hello gorgeous." I heard through the phone. I instantly knew it was Shawn because of his flirting.
"I can guarantee I don't look gorgeous right now." I had just gotten out of the shower and was ready for bed. I had my shower cap on and a think green Lush mask on too.
"Don't say that." I just laughed. He really had no idea. "So our date."
"What would you like to do?" I ask.
"Oh that's a surprise, but is tomorrow night okay?"
"Sure"
"I can't wait." I could just tell he was smiling because of the way he was talking.
"I can't wait either."
We spent two more hours just talking on the phone. Until Shawn asked to FaceTime instead of abnormal phone call. I said yes obviously but I was still confused.
"I would like you to go to your doorstep." He ordered.
"Umm why?" I asked but still obeyed. He just smiled obviously very pleased with himself. I reached the lobby and found that there was a package waiting for me.
"So I'm guessing this is from you? I asked and he nodded and bit his lip. Gosh, he was so attractive, even through the crappy quality of my IPhone's FaceTime.
I went back to my apartment and set up my phone so I could open the package in front of Shawn. Slowly and carefully, I untied the white satin ribbon on the box. I took off the lid and saw that the velvet pink dress from earlier today was neatly folded and wrapped in tissue paper.
"SHAWN!!" I screamed at him. "I can not accept this. It is way too expensive and you barely know me. I just can't take it."
"Oh Leigh, please accept it and wear it tomorrow for our date. I know you love it." He said smirking.
"Okay. I'll wear it but you can't do this to me Shawn." I waved my fingering at the screen disapprovingly.
"Do what?"
"Spoil me."
"But I like to spoil you." I couldn't help but blush.
"You're too sweet ughhh."
"You love it."
"Okay, Oaky" I said laughing. "I need to go to sleep. Gotta get extra beauty sleep for our date tomorrow."
"You don't need any beauty sleep, you are already pretty enough." Jeez this guy can make me blush.
"Night Shawn."
"Night Leigh."
I hung up and continued getting ready for bed. I eventually fell asleep and dreamed of the next day.
