MERIT'S P.O.V
Hi. My name is Merit, (pronounced as Merie), Anna Foster. I have long black hair and blue eyes. I'm seventeen and I attend Ontario High School here in Ontario, Canada. At school I'm known as 'The Nerd' and that's exactly what I want because the more people that hate me and stay away from me, is the safer my secret will be.
Huh. That rhymed... ;)
I slowly rode my bicycle to school, knowing that once I walk through those doors there's no going back. I went through the enormous gates and took deep breaths, preparing myself for what I call 'hell'.
I parked my bicycle in my usual spot at the side of the school building and headed towards the entrance.
Whatever you do, don't lose control. My conscience tells me as I try to calm down my rapid heartbeat.
After taking a few more deep breaths and adjusting my big, black nerd glasses on my face, I walked through the entrance doors and down the hallway to my locker with my head hanging low.
Summer just ended and I can still remember the amazing time that I had with the boys...
*FLASHBACK START*
We were all at the beach. I was reading a book and trying to get a tan. I felt a very cold liquid substance running down my entire figure.
I removed the now soaked book from my sight to look up at the imbecile who wet me with my mouth wide open. He was holding an empty bucket in his hands and had his all time, billion dollar smirk on his face.
I just wanted to smack it right off. "Jason?!" I yelled angrily, throwing the book that would not be of anymore use to me on the floor. "Merit?!" He copied me with a terrible attempt of doing a high pitched, girly voice.
Standing up, I gave him an intense glare, trying to look intimidating but failing effortlessly as he towers over me by like 10 inches with tattoos, jet black hair and piercing blue eyes.
"That was awful!" I exclaimed while laughing historically. "Yeah, yeah." he said, waving a hand dismissively. He flashed me a bright smile, showing his straight, white teeth. His smile then turned into a mischievous smirk.
He kept on looking back and forth at the water and me. "Oh hell no!" I shouted before turning on my heel to run away, but before I could even take one step, he gripped onto my waist, spun me around and threw me over his shoulder.
He started to run towards the water and I screamed bloody murder but no one helped me. The guys just stood to the side and watched us.
Thanks a lot boys! :-\
Jason threw me into the water and when I returned to the surface, I saw him laughing his ass off. I splashed him with water and he stopped laughing, only to splash me back with the water. We spent the rest of the day splashing water at each other and just having a good time at the beach.
*FLASHBACK END*
I sighed happily at the amazing memory before retrieving my books for my first three sessions. After slamming my locker shut, the entire hallway fell silent and and people parted like the Red Sea.
Ugh! This is exactly what I was trying so hard to avoid.
Walking down the pathway made for them were the cheerleaders/sluts of this school and right at the front of the squad with the amount of make up that could drown anyone on, clothes that were way too tight and showed too much skin and high heels that made her legs stand out more was Chelsea DiCaprio, the head of the cheerleading squad, the school's biggest slut and my biggest bully of all time.
She spotted me and smirked evily before she started to walk over to me with her wannabe followers. She stopped right in front of me, scanning me from head to toe while obnoxiously smacking a mint gum in her mouth.
How the hell do boys find this attractive? Damn...
We unfortunately locked gazes and she opened her mouth to make a comment. "Well hey nerd. So tell me...which garbage bin did you dig into last night to get this outfit? Hm?" She asked, batting her fake eyelashes innocently.
I really wasn't in the mood for her bullshit right now.
I didn't answer.
"Hello. Didn't I just ask you a question bitch?" she said, getting into my face.
Woah. Her breath stinks! It smells like salt mixed with mint. That's an awful smell by the way.
Wait...did she just...?
Oh ewwww!!!
I took a step back . "The emission in your bocal cavity is wreaking havoc in my olfactory canal." I said with complete disgust before turning on my heel and walking away.
"What the hell is that suppose to mean?!" she shouts after me. "There's something called the internet! Look it up genius!" I yelled back at her and waved a hand at her dismissively without looking back.
Ugh...disgusting.
