Days later, after Tsubaki had become interested in violin playing, Nao is in front of Tsubaki's home, and they are to look for some violin tuition. She knocked at the door, and Mrs. Sawabe entertained her.
"Hi Nao! Tsubaki's busy, as always..."
"Ah, Mrs. Sawabe! Thanks for reminding me. Wait, have you heard of Ryota Watari?"
"Oh, I heard he was into an international football camp for the past two weeks. I wonder if he could come back home today."
"Thanks! Now I can play with another fellow jock again!" Nao said, smiling.
"I'll now go, Mom..." Tsubaki said while she walked out of the door. "I'll not come home late!"
"Take care, Tsubaki!" Mrs. Sawabe said, handing Tsubaki her sling bag.

Nao and Tsubaki went from almost every downtown and bustling street near to their hometown. For hours they ended up exhausted and they stand in front of a convenience store.
"Oh, we've stopped at Konbini!" Nao said, "I'll buy you some ice cream, wait for me!"
"Ah... okay... I want the one with red bean paste." Tsubaki faintly said.
Nao went inside, and while she was purchasing the cold snacks, Ryota Watari came in.
"Dammit, Kashiwagi! Why did you let Tsubaki lie there pale?"
"Hmm?!" Nao said and ran with Watari. "She said she's fine..."
"But haven't you noticed it?!"
"I didn't. Sorry."
Watari held Tsubaki up; and they entered the car his family owned.
"Watari, how's the camp?"
"Ah, awesome! Wait, are you going to eat Tsubaki's ice cream?"
"Why, she's asleep. She'll forget it anyway, Watari."
"Thank you!!!" Watari exclaimed his excitement about the bean-paste flavored ice cream
---------
"Tsubaki? Are you okay?"
A childlike, youthful voice aroused Tsubaki.
"Open your eyes. It's perfect here, but... not really."
Tsubaki marveled at the wondrous sight: atop her was a beautiful sky painted with cirrus clouds and stardust, below her are golden roads and mist, and beside her was Kaori.
"Kaori?!" Tsubaki's eyes watered? "I miss you! I regret losing you!"
"Tsubaki... Good thing you're still well. How's my beloved instrument? Is the rosin still enough? Are the strings still in tune? Have you played something from your heart?"
"Kaori... don't worry. The violin's sound. I will do my best in learning it..."
"Okay... Tsubaki, I have one favor. Please play for me, for Kousei, and for Watari. Please create a mellifluous and crystalline playing style that never matches mine." Kaori said as she distanced two feet away, showing her wearing a white off-shoulder sleeved gown and she held a Stradivari violin.
"Would you keep on playing for us?"
"Of course, Tsubaki!" Kaori said while she faded away like dust.
"I don't know if I'd still hate music..." Tsubaki mused, trying to hold her tears.
----------
Kousei had finished more than twenty continous playing of the same Etude. He has to master it very well, and on that break he had decided to talk to Tsubaki.
"Tsubaki?!"
There was no answer, meaning he had to jump. Tsubaki only has the windows open if she is there, yet this time was without reply. He braced himself, and closing his eyes he jumped into her house-through the window.
"Hiya!" Kousei exclaimed and gazed at Tsubaki's plain tan room. He fixed his eyes on the pale and cold Tsubaki, and he went there.
"Tsubaki?! Don't you leave me!" Kousei anxiously said as he wiggled Tsubaki's head.
"KOUSEI!!" Tsubaki was enraged as she saw him holding her face. "How dare you trespass into private property?!"
"Oh, yeah. Nao and Watari are in my room..."
Kousei pointed out to Nao and Watari, smiling at Tsubaki.
"I thought you are going to die!" Watari remarked.
"Jeez, are you finding Tsubaki cute?" Nao replied.
"Dammit! I'd rather be a football star than having a crush on Sawabe!" Watari exclaimed with a slight peachy blush.
"Nao!" Tsubaki called, "Where's my ice cream?"
"I ate it! HAHAHAHA!" Watari replied, "Now you can't kick me! I'm too far away!"
"YOU MONSTER!!!" Tsubaki said, and flames come out from her head. "I HATE YOU, WATARI!!"
"Eh, Nao gave it to me!"
"Damn you Nao!" Tsubaki said, "I hate you all!!"
"What was all about this fight?!" Kousei remarked with confusion.
"Kousei...?" Miss Hiroko looked for Kousei in his room.
"Ah, I'm here, Miss Hiro!"
"How did you get in there?!"
"Hmm... I just visited Tsubaki!"
"No! He jumped into my room!" Tsubaki snapped, "He wants to damn slap me!"
"Get back here, Kousei!" Miss Hiroko yelled, "Don't do this the next time!"
"Ha-ha!" The little, innocent Koharu entered, "What's with all these people in this room? Mr. Arima's students?"
"Koharu, I can't teach four people at once!" Kousei yelled.
"He-heh... Just kidding! No lessons for today, right?" Koharu smiled to Kousei mischievously and ran back to her room.
Inside her little blue and white room was a transverse flute she secretly played. Her tiny green eyes glistened upon that little excitement that she could practice a flute sonata.
"I'll come back, Miss Hiroko! And Tsubaki, one day I'll give you a gallon of ice cream, flavored cookies and cream!" Kousei shouted before going downstairs.
"I hate cookies and cream!" Tsubaki replied. "I hate you, dummy Kousei!"
"At least I did a little heroic act for you, Tsubaki! I thought you're dead!" Kousei replied, and he left the room.
"Dammit!" Tsubaki remarked, "Anyway, I can be compensated by this amazing violin."
Tsubaki went back to bed, this time she read about musical notation, albeit still frankly tired.
