Jumping threw Windows?

Katerina's POV

I found James sleeping on the shore of a near by river, he was laying on his stomach with his paws tucked under his chin. I ran up beside him and licked his face. He groaned and swatted my face away so i lifted my paw up and smacked it on his face. He awoke with a start and looked up at me with confusion in his eyes.

 'Get up Rat.' i said through our mind link. See every were family has a mind link which can only be used when we are in our wolf form. One a wolf has been marked or has marked someone else the link is cut off and one is formed between the mates.

  'I ain't no Rat! You are! Why'd you have to wake me? I was having a good dream!' He yelled back loud enough for my brain to hurt.

  'Woah! Calm down! First of all you must learn better grammar, and second its time to go home... Rat.' i replied.

  'Stop calling me that!' James yelled and sat up.

  'Oh and what are you going to do about it гризач?' i asked using the Bulgarian word for 'Rodent'. James got up and snarled at me causing me to turn and make a run for it back to the house my father just bought. My mother passed away a few months ago by a rogue attack and my pack gave us 5 months to find a house and leave since we could no longer contibute or build the pack. My father refused to remarry because my mother was his mate and our pack saw us useless because we could not produce more pups.

I smelt my fathers scent and knew we were close. I saw the back door come into view and i stopped behind a tree letting James run ahead. I shifted back and got dressed. I walked out to see James already shifted and dressed aswell. I walked passed him purposly bumping into him and he shoved me back. this kept goin on intil we got back inside where my dad was sitting on the couch watching TV his face red and puffy from crying. I feel bad for him but i dont ever bring it up because he gets mad. I walked over to him and kissed his cheek.

  "Hi Daddy." i smiled at him and he breathed in my scent. He looked at me and his eyes turned dark.

  "Why do you smell of male?" He asked.

  "I-I.... Daddy dont be mad." I studdered.

  "Who is he?" He asked his face tightening. He will be okay once he finds out hes my mate. I thought and smiled.

  "His name is Xander and hes my.. Well daddy hes my mate." I said looking down.

  "Oh." He said his face softening. "Well then, i guess i'll have to meet this boy." He said.

  "Okay Daddy ill set it up the next time i see him." I smiled at him and turn on my heel heading to my room to go unpack the rest of my stuff. I walked past James who was stuffing his face with food and i leaned in to say "I guess your not a rat after all, your just a pig." I smiled and he gave me an evil look while i walked into my room. I opened the door to find Xander sprawled out on my bed. He looked up to an, I'm guessing, surprised me.

  "Hey." He said getting up and walking towards me. I closed the door.

  "Shhh." I whispered now noticing he only had pants on showing his muscles. "My dads in the next room." I said walking past him and turning on my TV so we could talk normaly. "There." I said turning around and falling face first on the bed. "Why are you here?" i asked turning my head to look at him.

  "I wanted to see where my mate lived, I crawled through the window, cute house by the way." he smiled and walked over to the bed. I sat up and moved over so he could sit down next to me. "and i wanted to get to know you more about you." He said.

So thats all we did was talk. We talked about me at first then swiched to him. He has a mom a dad a little sister who is 6 and his best friend moved in with him when his parents split up. His bestfriend is not a werewolf but does know of them.

  "Whats your sisters name?" I asked as he ran his finger up and down my leg which was resting on his lap. My back was leaning against the corner of the room with my legs on his lap and his back was resting against the wall to my left.

  "Nike ya' know like the Greek Godess of victory?" He smiled.

  "Thats such a pretty name!" I squealed he chuckled

  "Not as pretty as yours." He said leaning closer his lips just an inch away from mine.

  "Oh whats your favourite music?" I laughed when he looked dissapionted and kissed his nose.

  "Rock, Classical, Classic rock, old pop like 70's 80's and 90's, pop, and country. I hate techno." He said making a discusted face.

  "i like all those but country, gross." I said smileing.

  "Oh come on Country is awesome!" He laughed. The door slammed open to reveal my dad in the door way and my brother behind him smirking.

  "What the hell are you doing in my house?" My dads voice boomed.

  "Daddy" I warned, no body talks to my mate like that.

  "Katerina, do not speak to me like that again." He said trying to keep his temper.

  "Daddy, do not speak to my mate like that. I know you love me and dont want anything to happen to me but think of how you would feel if Grandpa disliked you? Made it harder for you to be with your mate." I said getting up and walking over to my dad.

  "Sir we were only talking. " Xander spoke up behind me.

  "I see that but i dont like you sneaking into my house to see my daughter behind my back. You may come over when you please but if I catch you sneaking in one more time i will have your neck." he said and i could feel Xander tense behind me.

  "Yes sir." He said calmly trying to keep his anger at bay.

  "We are going to have Dinner soon, you are welcome to join us. Kat, keep your door open." He said and turned to leave before James stopped him.

  "You cant be serious!" He complained "She gets a warning for having a boy over and when I dont do the dishes once I get grounded?" He yelled.

  "I trust Katerina to do the right thing, you on the other hand havn't done the dishes for a week. Dont think i didn't see Katerina doing them for you. I'm busy not a moron." Dad said getting a laugh from every one but James. "Oh and that reminds me your doing dishes tonight." He said walking past him.

  "But thats not fair!" James whined going after him.

  "I like your dad, well when hes not yelling at me." Xander laughed.

  "Ya he somthing."  i smiled.
