Chapter 3 ~ The Camp

Daryl introduced us to everyone , everyone was really friendly except for Shane ... but I just think he didn't want to be bothered at the moment . well Beth showed me to my room it was really big and nicely decorated the bed was super comfy ! I laid on it and just forgot everything . next Beth took my mom and my sister and showed them to there room .. I heard a knock on the door and I looked up to find Daryl in my door way . " how you like it here ? " he asked . " it's amazing the room is so big this bed is super comfy ! I love it here " I replied "that's good I knew you guys would " he said I smiled and he smiled back . he then came and sat next to me on the bed we chatted a bit more when a friendly man came up to my room and said that dinner was ready . I hadn't eaten in a couple of hours so I followed him down the stairs . dinner was amazing every now and then Daryl would look up at me with his beautiful green eyes they reminded me of the trees back home . I missed home . all of a sudden the man named Shane ran In the door with panic in his eyes and said ... " WALKERS HAVE ATTACKED THE NORTH PART OF THE FENCE!"

immediately as if on cue , Hershel , Rick , Glen , and Carl stood up and grabbed their guns and ran out the front door , as Daryl was getting up to get his crossbow I walked over to him gave him a hug and looked him in his eyes and said " be careful out there "

he nodded and hugged me tightly back then ran out the door with the others I ran up the stairs to see if my mom and sister were okay and when i entered the room I saw them asleep. so I woke them up and told my mom what was happening we waited and watched out the window it seemed like the guys had it under control after awhile the 'walkers' were killed and the fence was fixed. the guys came in and checked on everyone inside to see if they were okay after everything was taken care of we were told to head to bed . so I headed up to my room and laid in my bed I just stared at the ceiling thinking about my dad about the walkers and about Daryl

I looked up to find Daryl standing in my door way . I sat up and patted the spot on my bed to tell him to sit down he sat and we talked for a little while . he was so adorable the way he just stared at me . it was getting pretty late and I think he knew so he kissed me on my forehead and left . I fell asleep shortly after that when I woke up the next morning I smelt the sweet smell of bacon and pancakes . I ran down the stairs and sat at the table waiting patiently for my food . Hershel was sitting at the table too "well good morning you seem awfully happy this morning!" he said "well it is a beautiful day" I replied we talked about his farm and his wife Hershel seemed really nice he reminded me of my dad . everyone started coming out from their rooms and sat at the table Daryl came and sat next to me "good morning beautiful" he said . did he just call me beautiful !?

"good morning " I replied with a smile after breakfast rick asked Daryl And I to go on a run we got on Daryl's motorcycle and left we were headed to the pharmacy to get my mom her pills and anything else we could find we finally arrived we walked up slowly towards the door making sure no walkers were around or were inside . we walked in and I started looking for her pills and band aids and anything else that we needed I was searching for the pills on the shelf by the pharmacist counter .
