Jack
"Jack! Jack!" Rapunzel yelled as her bare feet slapped against the stone floor.
"What is it?" I asked frantically. "Is there something wrong?"
"No!" Hiccup said, trailing after Rapunzel. "The exact opposite."
"She's here!" said Merida, coming up behind Hiccup. "The one thar' all talking about!"
"Elizabeth Duke." Rapunzel finished.
"Even more," Hiccup continued. "She's requested an audience with us!" No sooner had he said it, the other three were scampering off down the hallway with me at their heels. This was the person who was going to save us. I pictured her as standing tall as a statue, holding a sword that could kill the enemy if he just looked at her. I didn't picture a girl, I pictured a warrior. We walked outside into the forum to see Sherlock Holmes and Firelord Zuko standing over the seal. In between them was a girl with brown hair that went about to her shoulders, pulled back in a messy ponytail. She wore a plain, purple, long sleeved shirt and jeans. Her face was thin and free of makeup. She was obviously pretty, but in an ordinary, plain way, almost like she didn't want to be noticed for her beauty. But there was one thing that stood out; Her youth. She was so young, almost fourteen or fifteen. There was no way this was the right person. She was far from ready to fight in a war, let alone be a general.
"Elizabeth," Sherlock said, "These are you next ranking captains; Rapunzel Corona, Hiccup Horrendouse Haddock, Merida Dunbroch, and Jack Frost. What do you think of them?"
She looked at all of us and smiled. "A healer who knows her way around a frying pan," Rapunzel. Blushed and shied away a little "a dragon trainer who can supply our aerial needs," it was minuscule, but Hiccup straightened his posture and grinned, "an archer who's known royalty her whole life so she must know about treaties and all the official stuff I know nothing about," Merida grinned widely, creasing her eyebrows, almost like she was saying you're darn right. Then she turned to me and smiled a tiny bit. Something pricked my insides when she looked at me. Familiarity? She continued, "and a boy who controls the snow and is a walker of the wind. In other words, a spy and a diversion creator. Well done, you two." She said looking at Zuko and Sherlock. "I couldn't find a better set of captains if I tried." I was a little annoyed. This was the best Zuko could find? She looked like she knew nothing about how our world worked.
"Do you know what you're doing?" I blurted.
"Jack!" Rapunzel hissed.
"Do you?" I asked.
Elizabeth looked hurt for a moment and then said, "You're right. I know about your individual worlds, but I know nothing about how this one works and I have very little skill when it comes to weapons and war. I want to be ready when the time comes."
"I'm sure everyone here would be happy to teach you their individual talents." Rapunzel suggested
"Hang on." She said. "I get how someone can teach archery or dragon taming or sword fighting because those are self-taught skills, developed over time. But I doubt somebody like you or Jack will be able to teach me your skills. It's practically impossible because you were born with them."
"Might I cut in?" Sherlock asked. Elizabeth nodded. "As someone from the outside world with pre-existing knowledge of us, your mind gives you an incredible advantage. Right now, it's the most powerful organ in your body...well, it is at every moment but what I'm trying to say is that now that you're here, your mind has been practically boosted, giving you more power in mind over matter. Which means, your mind, much like my own, is far superior and is therefore capable of taking in more knowledge at a much faster rate."
"Meaning...?"
"Meaning that even if you weren't born with the ability to heal or use the power of fire, your mind, which has a vast knowledge of our worlds and the people who exist here, is able to learn those abilities, even master them. You're. Mind is working so fast that it's capable of things you didn't even know were possible."
A huge grin passed over Elizabeth's face. "That sounds fantastic!" She practically squealed. "I also want Catherine to accompany me in these lessons. She knows even less about you guys than I do." Oh great, there's another one? I thought. "That sounds like a good idea," Said Zuko.
"Great." Elizabeth said, grinning. "I'll start tomorrow, if you think that'll be enough time for everyone to prepare."
"Should be plenty of time." Zuko said as The Doctor and another girl strode out of the Doctor's hallway. The girl was looking fairly confused, as though everyone was speaking Greek. The girl walked over to Elizabeth and said, "None of this makes any sense."
Elizabeth giggled. "Oh it takes some time."
"Perhaps I should show you to your room?" Sokka suggested.
"That sounds wonderful."---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
