"Don't you dare yell at her." "And who are you dog?" Shit his full attention is on me now. I could barely escape him in a race and now I just challenged him to a fight! {You can't help standing up for her.} I know but shit. I'm about to get my ass whipped. He started to approach me slowly. I looked to Alice and she had sat down with Jane. They were cuddling and didn't say a word!!! Why aren't they helping?! {Could be another test.} Oh so they want to see what will happen huh? {Ya we can win after all, the king did the heavy lifting. We just need a clean shot or two} Right. I pushed Ari from behind me and towards her mothers. I squared up with him. "I'm her protector." ------------------- Ari's POV:
I ran over and sat in my mama's lap. Why did she take up for me like that?! My mama would have put him in his place! Mom wrapped her arms around me and kissed me. "Don't worry about her. She will be fine." You don't know that! She doesn't even have the job as my protector so why stand up for me? I felt my chest start to tighten. Please don't fight over me... I don't want you to get hurt over nothing. But it was to late Allen was throwing punches that where meant to kill. Juliana did an amazing job of keeping her distance and waiting until he got sloppy. But he didn't. He kept building up speed and power until he broke her block and nailed her square in the jaw. Something snapped in me and I don't know what it was but I screamed when her body hit the ground. I couldn't look anymore so I buried my head in my mama's neck. Please get up... Please be okay.... Moments went by before I felt something. Her aura. There was a spark of passion and power. Then it disappeared. I looked back at them and saw her standing up with no fear. I blinked and uncle Allen was writhing in pain on the ground.

What happened? I turned to my mamas and they looked just as shocked. Before I knew what came over me I had ran over to Juliana and hugged her. ------------- Juliana's POV:
Oh god my face hurts... {It should you almost got your ass knocked out} I looked down at Allen who was rolling around holding his stomach. I'm pretty sure he had me bet what happened? {Honestly I don't know, I heard Ari's voice when he had us laid out. Then just blank. We got up and hit him.} So Ari helped some how? {I don't know} Before I could think about it more I felt sparks. Ari had ran up to me and was now hugging me tight. {Awe our little mate.} Her head was buried in my chest. Haha I hope she doesn't suffocate. I hugged her back. "I'm fine you know." She nodded and kept her self firmly attached to me. Not that I mind. I saw Alice and Jane whispering to each other. Time to ease drop again... "Did you see that puppy?" "Ya I can't believe it. Her aura it was like mine when I first..." Shit I can't make out the last part. "I remember baby." They shared a kiss. "I think we should hire her and she will train with me." "Same. This will finally give us some alone time." Alice smiled wide. "For what movie night?" "No but I'm sure we can make a movie if you want." Jane started to run her hand up Alice's thigh and kissed her neck. "We are in public love." She said as a soft moan. "Not for long puppy..." {It's rude to spy on people.} I noticed my face was heating up. Ya your right. {Pervert.} It headed left quickly!!!!! It's not my fault!!! {Well they are mates I don't know what your expecting} Ugh... I looked down at my mate. She hadn't moved a inch. I could feel her sorting out her feelings about me. I laughed to myself. We won't be like that for a while. -------------- After Allen got up he apologized to Ari. We all walked back to the King's house for dinner. I held Ari's hand the whole way there. I don't know why or if anyone else really noticed but it took my mind off of my sore cheek. "So what grade are you in?" I want to get to know her as soon as possible. "I'm a sophomore." "In middle school?" "No in high school." "What?!" She started blushing. "It's not that big of a deal." "Yes it is! Your what? 13?" "I'm gonna be 14 in a month!" "So your a nerd?" She ripped her hand away from me and ran upstairs. Shit it was just a joke. {Your a fucking idiot.} I didn't mean it to be rude! {She probably feels like an outsider. Kids probably don't treat her the same. Maybe I over reacted... but I can't help being sensitive. People never treat me like I'm normal. Ugh. Why do I have to like her. She's just complicating things... Wait?! Like her?! I don't like her!!! Well maybe a little bit. Ugh!!! I collapsed on my bed. I can't like her. She's to old and will never be into me. She's just here for a job. Plus I'm only looking for my mate.
