The Raccoon's POV

A plague of pain swarmed me...Making me feel limp and weak amongst the floor. My eyes opened forcefully, as my vision was different then before. I started to see normal colors of the alley way, instead of the black and white I always used to see.

My limbs felt stronger, with the pain starting to evaporate from my taste. I looked around, as the pain was away from me. Another human laid opposite from me. He was wearing a red jacket with white stripes on the shoulders.

I got up, realizing something was totally different. Something didn't feel right at all. I felt more of a cold sensation when i tried to pull myself up. The fur on my paws didn't feel like they were keeping me warm from the cold concrete anymore. It felt like I had nothing to protect me anymore.

I glimpsed down...Regretting that I did. My eyes widened as the bare skin was before me. My paws were no longer the sharp and black rodent. They were now the long and weird five naked rats that wiggled weirdly. I gasped as they curled and kept curling and uncurling at my command.

My heart was pounding, as my eyes wandered through out my body. I had the stick legs, blue like cloth on them which covered the naked skin up. Or did I still have my beautiful fur under them? I didn't want to see.

I saw the arms of a human, that bent the other direction of what I'm used to which was really disgusting to me. All of my fur was turned into the disgusting pale skin, with cloth on top of it to cover it.

My hands touched the concrete floor, as I put pressure on each hand. I started to lift myself up slowly, trying not to fall as my arms shook. I could feel my heart beating, and my breathing starting to quicken by the second.

I moved my legs, so I could put pressure on them. I started to release my hands from the ground, which was a total fail because I fell backwards on to my ass. Ow.

I sighed, and tried again. I lifted myself up, and started to release the pressure on my hands. My legs shook, as my feet were lifting my weight. I smiled, and chuckled. "I-I'm doing it!" I looked down, as I took a step forward, succeeding in taking my first step.

I started to take another step, then another. Hey I'm getting pretty good. I started to walk normally, like a human!

I looked over at the other human being on the floor, as he started to move and groan. He flipped himself over, where he was laying on his back. His eyes closed, he sighed, and smacked his hand with his head really hard surprisingly. He screamed as he awoke in surprise. He probably thought he was still an owl, and didn't think of his feathers being gone. I laughed at his stupidity, as he breathed heavy.

He looked over at me, and with small pupils. He turned his head in surprise, while I smiled, and reached a hand for him. "C'mon sunshine, gotta get up and about." He stayed their for a while, before I rolled my eyes and walked behind him. I grabbed his arms, and tried to pick him up but his human form was much more bulky and bigger than mine.

I sighed, and did it once more, succeeding. Until my arms became a little soar from his weight.

His legs twitched as his arms reached out for balance. He was breathing heavy as he took a step, then taking more until he looked like a normal human being. He smiled, and laughed as he looked back at me. "So this is what it's like..." I nodded, and smiled as I walked towards him.
