"Tim," (Y/n) interrupted Tim's chain of thoughts.
"(Y/n), killing someone would definitely not help our situation!"
"Maybe it will!" (Y/n) replied in a surge, "Why are you so concerned?"
Tim stared at her eyes, "Maybe I don't want you to get hurt."
She frowned, "Alex has to pay!"
Tim rubbed his temples in an exhausted manner, "I know he's a prick, but-!"
"Ya, he's a pure prick for sure!"
"But it was just a hallucination!"
(Y/n) tried to look for a logical answer, "Maybe..., but what if?"
Tim frowned solemnly, "Don't. Don't get yourself into a mess. I don't need to see another person get hurt."
(Y/n) stared at him in the eyes, "Stop caring about me, it may be a hallucination, but it could be true!"
He sighed, "You have no idea what you're getting yourself into."
(Y/n) glared, frustrated, "I do, I know damn right! I'm....I'm.....I'm so sick of all of this, Tim. I never do anything to solve problems, I just let problems go away by itself. This! This is not the case! Alex is a problem! And this time I'll do something!"
After Tim had come to his right mind after what had happened, (Y/n) had relaxed a bit in his house and thought to say something about what she was planning. About what she had seen- well, mainly heard. He seemed troubled about the idea. And thus, the argument started.
"(Y/n)!" Tim gripped on her shoulder, leaning a bit over her. There was a silence as Tim stared and (Y/n) tried to keep posture. In this crooked moment, Tim leaned further and (Y/n) felt the unexpected touch of bliss as their lips met. Time stood. Now, it's cliché to say that time stood, is it not? Well, it felt so real, as if time had literally stood still for the kiss to last. Once it was over with Tim breaking the kiss, (Y/n) felt a bit at loss without that wonderful touch.
"Tim, he killed my brother. Softening me up won't work," (Y/n) defensively retorted.
"I wasn't trying to. You're determined to. Just remember that I still admire you," Tim sighed.
(Y/n) pushed him away and headed for the door, opening it then said, "Tim, what I already done is unimaginable. The past few days is something that... That I know I'll have to live with."
Confused, Tim asked, "What do you mean?"
Feeling a break in her heart, "Eh, nothing. Bye, Tim."

(Y/n) quickly got in her car, replaying that kiss in her mind. Sure, it wasn't her first, there was that boyfriend in high school. Yet, it was still magical, despite the awkwardness of the situation. When she drove off, she realized how the situation was a mess, how she was making stupid, insane decisions, and how she felt something more for Tim. She felt something for him on that date at that fancy restaurant, but now, she felt a connection.
"Oh God, I'm on the verge of losing my shit, and I have butterflies from a kiss!" she chuckled. However, in the little moment, every positive feeling had vanished and a solemn trace of regret and despair stayed at her. "And I killed someone. Then there's that."
