"Dang, this... this is something," he chuckled.
(Y/n), wouldn't speak but tried to adjust her limbs into a non-painful position. "Asshole," she muttered.
Alex, who stood where she had fallen, curled his lips, it wasn't a smile. "You know, I thought you were going to be stubborn. But, no! This, however, makes everything better," rhyming the words together.
"You murderer!" She screeched, painfully, hissing at the pain in her leg joints. Despite the darkness blocking her view of him, she knew that solemn voice like nothing other.
"Sweetie, we're on the same page. I saw you."
"Saw what!?" She said, feeling her heart stop for an alarming few seconds.
"You know what. That alley back there? If you hadn't gone psycho, you wouldn't be here."
Swallowing air, (Y/n) gritted her teeth, "I hate y-!"
"Shut it!" he snapped. "You're such a obnoxious thing...," he muttered a few words under his breath that she could not hear. Chuckling with a laugh off odd enjoyment and solemnness. He aimed a gun towards (Y/n) who lied several yards away, injured and at his mercy.
Biting her lip, she felt helpless. He could kill her at any given moment. Any moment he wanted could be her last moment.
However, she's determined. (Y/n) thirst to see him gone and six feet under. She wanted to be alive when it happen.
"So, how's your... Umm.... Everything?" Well, his angry attitude went down quickly.
"Fine," she muttered harshly.
He looked off to the side, muttered something as if someone was near by, talking to him, then looked back down at her from the ledge. Pointing the gun back down at her, he scanned her figure. Muttered another few words, than begin to bring himself over the ledge.
"Get away! Wait- ha, ha, ha!" (Y/n) started to laugh as she flimsily tried to point the gun at Alex. Alex seemed to not care as he made way to her. His shoes crunching beneath the hard snow, he kept his gun aimed at (Y/n), whom kept hers aimed also. "Shoot," Alex ordered, staring her down as he was just a foot from her. "Why don't you shoot?"
Surprised at his actions, (Y/n) tried to pull the trigger, but her fingers were so weak from her damaged tissue and pain. Why was the trigger so hard to pull? It seemed a bit stuck. A small shriek came out of (Y/n) as she managed to shoot, however her hands went back and she shot towards the sky.
She made a yelp sound when it was suddenly kicked from her hands and flew across the freezing, powdered ground. Why was she surprised? "I gave you a chance, honestly did. That... That was pathetic," Alex chuckled slightly, aiming the gun towards her head. "(Y/n), you're infected, y'know? Once your dead, it's over for you, you go to where you believe in... I guess. You'll be safe, y'know?" He sighed, slumping his shoulders. (Y/n) had a hope that he was going to let her go. Frowning, he lowered the gun. (Y/n) sighed with relief.
However, that relief was long gone as he looked back at her. It was as if a new aura had come over. A dark, tense aura. He stared with insane eyes. Fear pelting at (Y/n)'s every limb. Even though it was dark, she still was able to see him. He had a menacing phase stay at his features. It was as if something overcame him. Mindlessly, he swinged the gun with his fingers so its barrel faced her. His face changed. He looked insane, menacing, yet his eyes were now telling a different story. His dark eyes looked concerned and scared. "Agh!" he yelled slapping his hand to his head as an extreme headache suppressed him, but also thoughts flooded in. He was shaky as he pointed the gun, his other hand shaking vibrantly through his smooth, brown hair. His fingers placed over the trigger, he seemed to be struggling.
He was struggling. Something in him wanted to see this, something in him wanted to drop the gun and get her to safety.
He cursed loudly at himself. "Agh! I'm an idiot!" He blurted. Angry at himself for even doing what he had done. Alex, despite the want dragging him, threw the gun into the darkness with frustration. "What am I doing!?" he cried. (Y/n) was having her own freak out session for she was so confused on what to do. She wanted to kill him, but he was having a breakdown it seems. Perhaps he was trying to throw her off guard?
With the darkness, (Y/n) could only see anything nearby, however each of them went silent. They two heard the dragging sound in the snow. It sounded as if it was coming from every directions. "Who's there!?" he yelled out, anger piercing his voice. The dragging sound went silent.
Alex, cursed and went around in search for the thrown gun, muttering of his stupidity.
"He's like an edgy teenager going through violent mood swings," (Y/n) muttered, trying to help her leg by trying to test if it's broken. This was extremely bothering the shit out of her. She was so helpless to the situation. "Why am I so helpless? Always?" she mumbled angrily. (Y/n) was stuck where she was, any other situation would have her running off, but no,"My leg just had to be prick.
(Y/n) heard a bang near Alex and looked up, to her dismay she saw Alex lying on the ground. Right next to him loomed a tall figure she could hardly make out in the darkness. However she could hardly see the pale orange and knew exactly. It held a large metal pipe in hand. It stared at her and she stared back. It seemed forever before anything happened and when it did, it came by quickly. Something picked her up by her torso from behind and a gloved hand over her mouth. Recklessly, she started to scramble from whomever grasp it was. A sharp pain exaggerated from her leg and her eyes watered. The hand moved from her mouth and she began to take deep breaths, still freaking out.
The freewill to breathe did not last long as the hand, along with a rag, was put to her mouth. It took at least thirty seconds before she went unconscious.
