Im not going to lie. I might have a teeny tiny crush on Finn. Nothing huge its just I like him but it'll pass I know it will. I'm sure he has a special girl back at home and I didn't see him ever liking me in that way. But that didn't stop me from putting some extra perfume on or adding another coat of lip gloss.

"Hey Millie"

I looked behind me to see Sadie standing with her hand on her hip.

"Wow you look hot" I said. She wore jean shorts and rolled them up to where they were even shorter, showing off her tanned legs. As for her shirt, or lack of one, she wore a green ribbed halter.

"You look smokin too, mills" she said. I laughed at the comment even though I did feel like I looked good. My outfit consisted of black cut off shorts and a tight, red off the shoulder crop top that I had borrowed from Sadie.

"I mean if I wasnt with Caleb and I was less straight I-"

"Dont even say it!" I said, setting down my lip gloss and fluffing my hair.

Sadie laughed and then suddenly the mood shifted.

"Millie i'm really sorry I always hang around Caleb and ignore you" she said.

"I understand Sadie I know that he means a lot to you"

"You mean a lot to me too its just...I don't know...I feel like I've been an ass to you and i'm sorry" she said, frowning.

"Sadie its fine I understand you don't have to be sorry" I said, smiling and walking over to her.

She stared at me for a second noticing how much work I put into my appearance tonight.

"Real shit though. Do you like him?" Sadie asked. I looked down at the realization of where this conversation was going.

"Who Finn? No...no no no he's jus-"

"I swear to god Millie I dare you to lie to me" she said, sternly but also smiling. I looked back up to her face.

"Kinda" I said, shrugging.

"Good cause he likes you too and I predict he'll make a move to-"

"What? I'm not the type of girl Finn wou-"

"Yes you are he's practically in lo-"

"No he's not!"

"Stop interrupting me Mill-"

"You stop interrupting me Sa-"

But this time I wasn't interrupted by Sadie. I was interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Come in!" Sadie shouted. Of course it was the boys coming to get us to go to the party.

"Hello ladies" Gaten said, looking us up and down. I still was a little confused about the stunt he pulled earlier.

"Hey guys" I said, giving them a small wave.

"Wow! Who is this!? Damn she's looking fine as hell tonight" Caleb said, walking over to Sadie, wrapping his arms around her waist then lifting her off her feet.

"Oh stop!" Sadie said, giggling and leaning her head down to kiss him.

"Yeah Caleb...stop" Gaten said, scrunching his face in disgust.

I laughed at the lovey couple and Gatens very predictable remark. Then I saw Finn walking my way.

"Woah" he said. His eyes trailed from my feet all the way back up to my face. Well, they lingered in certain areas.
