Clara fearful as to what could've grabbed her dreads turning around, so she stiffly stands still. "Clara, who do I need to beat up with you slamming doors like that," Anna says in a drowsy tone. Clara spins around swiftly, with enormous relief. She then immediately apologizes to Anna for being so loud and waking her up. Anna accepts Clara's apology and asks why she walked out in the first place. "I thought I saw someone, but it turned out to be my eyes playing tricks on me," Clara tells Anna while they head back for the house. They then make their way inside and up the ancient stairs. "Well, I guess it's time to go back to bed," Anna jokes as they turn in for the night.
Yawwwwn, goes Anna as she looks over to see Clara still sound asleep. Anna then looks over to the sun shining through the window, showing that it's gonna be a cloudless, nice summer day. Anna makes her way down the annoyingly, loud stairs trying to be as quiet as possible so she wouldn't waken Clara. She then makes her way through the living room and into the kitchen. Anna decides to brew a pot of coffee. As she is reaching in the cabinet for a mug she hears a loud thump, almost dropping the coffee mug she sets it on the counter to go explore where this noise came from.
Anna scours the living room but can't find anything out of the ordinary. Thump, Anna hears coming from the basement door. She walks over to it and opens the door. All Anna can see is the light flickering, due to the wall blocking her view to the bottom she slowly lurches down the stairs. Moments from the bottom they stop flickering and go out. A moment of fear came over Anna only to be interrupted by Clara flicking the light on.
"What on Earth are you doing down here with the lights off," asks Clara. Anna's caught in confusion for a split second. "I thought I heard something, must've been your lightbulb," Anna answers as she heads back up the stairs. After Clara makes breakfast they say their goodbyes and Anna heads out the door. Clara then begins her normal Saturday by freshening up and heading to the grocery store.
As Clara is looking at the fresh vegetables she notices a handsome new face. She glances at him until they meet eye contact. "Great, Clara, just great, now he's gonna think you're a creep," Clara thinks to herself, interrupting her thoughts, the unknown guy introduces himself as Jonathan Martin. Clara blushes while introducing herself. "Well, it's nice to meet you Clara, maybe I'll be seeing you around," Jonathan says as he reaches around Clara to grab some asparagus, pulling them to be inches away from each other's face. Clara nods as she walks away fastly, trying to escape how red her face became. She finishes her shopping.
Rumble, rumble goes Clara's stomach, wanting to satisfy her hunger she walk over to the diner across the street. She walks in and goes to sit as she hears a familiar voice say her name. Carla turns around to see Father Fletcher inviting her over to eat with him. She sits down with him, orders her food, and they chat for a while. "If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to call, any time," Father says to Clara as he makes his way to leave. Clara then proceeds to leave as well.
Clara makes her way into her house and decided to sit with Twie on the love seat. While they're watching the television Clara hears a knock at the door. She gets up and walks over to open the door. "Jonathan, what're you doing here," Clara asks in confusion. Jonathan replies with shock, "Clara, I had no idea you were the person who bought this house, otherwise I would've said something at the grocery store." "Said something, what do you mean," asks Clara. "I was the one selling the house, when I bought it I wanted to restore it to its former glory, however I never got around to doing it." "Restore it, that's what I had in mind when I bought it," Clara thinks to herself. "You don't mind if I reminisce on a dream do you," Jonathan asks. "Of course not, come on in," replies Clara. After inviting Jonathan in the two of them have tea and chat for a few hours. Clara then gives the tour of the house. Jonathan realizes how late it was getting and thanks Clara for the company and allowing him to impede on her night. "It was no bother at all and you can come by anytime you want," Clara says to Jonathan as she shuts the door.
Clara then continues to the kitchen to feed Twie and make dinner. Once she finishs eating she decides to watch a show until she's ready for bed. After a few hours go by she cuts off the television and heads up the stairs. Making her way to the bedroom she decided to go to the bathroom to take her makeup off.
"Such a busy day, it was a good day. Definitely well needed from this week, I honestly couldn't have been anymore stressed. Hopefully the rest of the week will be the same, stress-free." Clara hopes to herself. As she makes her way to the bathroom Twie hops onto the bed. She cuts the faucet on and waits for it to warm up causing the steam to fog the mirror, she likes her water scolding. After it's heated up she begins to wash her face.
Twie begins hissing at the doll in the corner, causing Clara to stop what she was doing. She then looks over at the doll and stares at it for a moment until she hears what sounds like a finger running down her mirror. She looks up to see the words 'give it back' being written on the fogged mirror. Clara stands paralyzed in a frightening disbelief as she tries to wrap her head around what just happened. Taken by fear, Clara begins to stuttered, "W-Wh-Wha-" unable to make a sentence she gets interrupted with the shattering of the mirror, almost as if someone punched it.
