The Sight

Chapter Eight: True Intentions

     As Clara buries her beloved Twie she wonders to herself why she has such bad luck. "The police can do nothing, I can do nothing, this was just a terrible decision, I never should've bought this house," Clara thinks as she sheds a few more tears for her pet. She's lost everything, even her sanity. She tries to pick her head up and go inside the death trap. As she walks inside she glances at the blood stained floor, no matter how hard she scrubbed, it would not come off.

     Clara gives up, making her way to the bedroom, lacking the energy she once had as well as ignoring breakfast as she no longer has an appetite for anything. She lays her head down and soon drifts into a deep sleep.

     Bringgg.. bringgg”, the ringing of her alarm wakes her. After stretching she gets up and makes her way to the bathroom. Clara looks into the mirror to notices her long auburn hair turned to the darkest of brown and was cut to shoulder length, her hazel eyes turned to a deep sea blue, her lips as red as blood. "This face, I've seen it before," she thinks to herself. Clara realizes she is no longer Clara, she's the girl from her vision, Samantha. Suddenly she hears someone pounding at the door, she opens it to find Jonathan standing there. Clara wonders to herself how Samantha knows Jonathan. They strike a conversation about an investigation. Clara tries to say something, but unable to speak she discovers she's just a bystander inside of Samantha. Clara then decides to listen and observe.

     "Would you like something to drink before we get started," Samantha asks Jonathan. He nods as they head to the kitchen. They sit down and chat about a passageway Samantha found. Clara notices there is something going on between Samantha and Jonathan. They're friendly to each other, a lot more than normal. After they finish they both head up stairs to the spare bedroom. Clara uses her spare bedroom as an office, however it seems Samanthas is just an empty room. As she examines the room she notices a closet, which is strange since Clara has moved in there was no closet at all. It seems the closet had been covered up. They open the closet and Samantha moves drywall to reveal a hidden crawl space.

     They both head into the crawl space with Samantha leading. As she crawls, she sees dead, half eaten rats around her. Once they finally reach a place to stand she realizes there are peep holes looking into the house. Samantha starts hyperventilating. She starts to walk faster then she comes to an abrupt halt. Her eyes widen in shock. She's now in the attic, a place where Clara refuses to go, in disbelief she rubs her eyes. Opening them to find it hasn't changed, Samantha sees a bed, more dead animals, and her personal items she thought she had lost all around. It's clear someone has been living here, watching her.

Samantha turns to Jonathan to figure out what to do, he then grabs the lamp that was next to him and hits her over the head... everything fades away.

     Clara wakes up to Jonathan standing at the end of her bed. "Did you have a good nap," he asks in a sinister tone. She tries to reach for her phone, however he jumps onto her and holds her down while covering her mouth. "Now, you just listen, it's not often I get turned down, but when I do it really pisses me off," he whispers in Claras ear. She then begins to cry, "Oh sweet girl, there's no reason to cry, I'm here to save you," Jonathan says diabolically. He rips her clothes off and begins violating her body. Jonathan chuckles and begins to tell her, "You see, he lets me have my way with them, before he does his damage."

    All of a sudden a force of air pushes Jonathan across the room. Clara immediately jumps up and runs down the steps and opens the door to find Anna about to knock. Clara grabs Annas hand and runs to her car, she gets and turns the keys to find it unable to start. Anna utterly confused tries to get Clara to tell her what's going on.  Trying to speak through hysterical tears Clara stutters, "Jonathan... he tried... he tried.. to rape me." Anna terrified for Clara offers to take her car, as they are running to Anna's car, a gunshot stops them.

     Jonathan has already came out of the house and pulled a pistol from his back and has it pointed at the girls. Clara screams, "I'll come back, just let her leave." He laughs, "Why so she can run and get the police, I don't think so, I'll just have my fun with the both of you. Oh, he'll love this. I have two goodies for him." Jonathan then puts the gun to them and pushes them inside to the living room.

     He ties their hands and feet, duck tapes their mouths, and begins toying with them. "I've already had a little fun with you, so let start with your friend," He says to Clara. He opens Annas legs and raises her skirt, he begins being aggressive and slaps her around. He then rips the duck tape off and forces himself inside of her mouth. Anna bites down as hard as she could, she won't giveup without a fight. He hits her with the back of the gun, knocking her out and leaving her head bleeding. He then turns back, gives a smirk to Clara, and in a menacing tone he says, "Back to you."
