I finally finish with my homework and feel exhausted. "Boys!" I hear Melissa yell from inside her room and hear how Scott and Isaac stand up. I know I know, it's pretty creepy how I'm at Scott's house looking over at her mom, but I heard that now one of the category of sacrifices is healers.
That's the people that are being sacrificed right now so I decided to go to Scott's house and make sure his mom wouldn't be one of the sacrifices. Yep. I stayed awake all night long. Not one of my best ideas but Isaac fell asleep during his turn so I couldn't do anything about it.
Obviously Scott and Isaac don't even know I'm in their house, I stayed out of Melissa's room due to the three of them being there but stayed around the corner, right out of the room. Before coming here I had my stuff ready for school and parked my motorcycle a few houses away so they wouldn't hear me parking it right at their house.
"What do you think you're doing?" Melissa asks. "Uh, we were watching over you." Isaac says. "We wanted to make sure you weren't the third sacrifice." Scott says. "But both of you were asleep." Melissa says confused. "You were on watch last." Scott tells Issac. "What are you talking about? You were on watch last." Isaac says.
"No,you were on watch last." "I might've been on watch last." Isaac accepts. "Wait." Scott says. "What?" Isaac asks. "There's somebody else here besides us." I hear Scott say. Him and Isaac come out of Melissa's room and they let out a short and small scream, finding me sitting right outside of her room.
